Various exemplary methods, systems, and devices for instability repair are provided. In general, a surgical device can be configured to drill a hole in bone and to deliver a suture anchor into the hole. In this way, a single surgical device can drill the hole and deliver the anchor into the hole for securing soft tissue to the bone. The anchor can be configured to allow the soft tissue to be secured to the bone using a suture coupled to a suture anchor without the need to knot or otherwise tie the suture to secure the soft tissue in place relative to the bone.

The base assembly includes a driving assembly that may engage the at least one driven assembly of the at least one prosthesis. The front delivery assembly can be rotated so that the position of a prosthesis in the front delivery assembly is moved in and out of alignment with the driving assembly. A kit of parts may be provided that includes a base assembly as well as two or more detachable front delivery assemblies.

Soft tissue fixation system

A soft tissue fixation assembly includes a plurality of deformable bone anchors and a suture that is configured to fixedly attach to each of the bone anchors. One or more of the bone anchors can be inserted into a bone, and one or more of the bone anchors can be inserted through soft tissue and into the bone. The suture can be inserted through the bone anchors, and energy can be applied to the anchors, thereby causing a deformable material of the bone anchors to deform, thereby capturing the strand of suture in the bone anchor. The strand of suture can be placed in tension, and can extend over the soft tissue so as to retain the soft tissue in contact with the bone.

The implant can further include a distal member positioned distal to the implant body and freely rotatable about the longitudinal axis. The implant delivery device can include a finger extending distally from a distal end of an inner shaft. The implant delivery device can controllably translate a wire between a distally extended position, at which the wire can form a closed loop with the finger and a distal end of the inner shaft, and a proximally retracted position, at which the wire can be at least partially retracted into the distal end of the inner shaft.
