SURGICAL ADAPTER ASSEMBLIES AND WIRELESS DETECTION OF SURGICAL LOADING UNITS
An adapter assembly includes an elongated body configured to couple to a handle assembly and a loading unit assembly. The adapter assembly includes an oscillator configured to output a voltage signal. A sensor determines a connection status of the loading unit assembly coupled to the adapter assembly based on a change in the voltage signal. The voltage signal includes a rectified voltage output and an induced voltage output and changes in response to the approximation of a winding disposed within a loading unit assembly to the oscillator.
HEMOSTASIS AND SUTURING CONJOINED DUAL-CLAMP CAPABLE OF PASSING THROUGH CHANNEL OF DIGESTIVE ENDOSCOPE AND OPERATION METHOD
A hemostasis and suturing conjoined dual-clamp capable of passing through a channel of a digestive endoscope and an operation method, the dual-clamp including a handle, a clamping assembly and a driving assembly. The clamping assembly includes a clamping holder and two clamping portions, and the driving assembly is detachably connected to the clamping assembly. A hemostasis and suturing conjoined dual-clamp capable of passing through a channel of a digestive endoscope and an operation method, two clamping arms of the dual-clamp are able to individually open, clamp and close, have a function of double-sided clamping and closing a large defective wound, and are able to be conveniently separated from the driving assembly, overcoming the defects that conventional hemostatic clamps can only perform one-sided clamping, thereby it is difficult to treat defective wounds that are large or in difficult operating sites.
APPLICATOR, MEDICAL DEVICE, AND LOADING METHOD OF CLIP
A medical device includes: a clip; a wire configured to be capable of operating the clip; a link that detachably connects the clip and the wire; a sheath with an inner diameter that can accommodate the link; a handle connected to the sheath; a slider provided on the handle and configured to be movable relative to the handle, the slider being connected to the wire; a first sheath constituting the sheath, the first sheath having a length such that the link is arranged at a position protruding from the first sheath when the slider is advanced with respect to the handle to a maximum extent; and a second sheath constituting the sheath and connected to the first sheath, the second sheath having a length such that the link is arranged at a position accommodated in the sheath when the slider is advanced with respect to the handle to a maximum extent.
APPLICATOR, MEDICAL APPARATUS, AND OPERATION METHOD OF MEDICAL APPARATUS
An applicator capable of operating a clip unit including a first link, a medical apparatus including the applicator and the clip unit, and a method for operating the medical apparatus are disclosed. The applicator includes: a second link capable of engaging with the first link; an operation wire; a sheath capable of accommodating the second link; a slider that is connected to the operation wire and can be operated to move the second link; and a knob. In a state where the slider is in an advanced-most position, the knob can be operated to adjust the length of the wire extending from the slider to the second link between: a first length at which the second link protrudes from the sheath, and a second length that is shorter than the first length, and at which the second link is inside the sheath.
Methods of deploying self-cinching surgical clips
Devices and methods for deploying self-cinching surgical clips. A device can access at least two layers of tissue or material from only one side of the tissue or material and puncture through the two layers of tissue or material. The various configurations of clips disclosed herein can be made of a superelastic material such as Nitinol, and have a constrained and a relaxed state, and no sharp edges or tips so as to reduce tissue irritation following deployment. The clip can be disposed within the housing of the delivery device and held in a constrained state until deployment wherein the clip assumes its relaxed state, where the ends of the clip can be brought into close approximation, thereby securing the layers of tissue or material together.
Surgical instrument with wireless communication between a control unit of a robotic system and remote sensor
A surgical instrument for use with a robotic system that has a control unit and a shaft portion that includes an electrically conductive elongated member that is attached to a portion of the robotic system. The elongated member is configured to transmit control motions from the robotic system to an end effector.
HEMOSTASIS RELOADABLE CLIPPING DEVICE WITH SLEEVE ENGAGEMENT
A system for treating tissue including a clip assembly including a pair of clip arms, a proximal end of each of the clip arms slidably received within a channel of a capsule and moveable between a tissue receiving configuration and a tissue clipping configuration. The system also including an applicator releasably coupleable to the clip assembly, the applicator including a control member connectable to the proximal end of each of the clip arms and a locking sleeve coupleable to a proximal end of the capsule via a deflectable tab including an engaging structure configured to engage a corresponding engaging structure at the proximal end of the capsule and a releasing structure proximal of the engaging structure, the releasing structure engagable with a portion of the control member to deflect the deflectable member and disengage the engaging structure of the locking sleeve from the corresponding engaging structure of the capsule.
Clip unit, medical instrument, and attaching method of medical instrument
A medical instrument has a capsule; an arm member disposed to protrude from the capsule; an operation wire connected to the arm member; a sheath configured to accommodate the operation wire; and a link configured to connect the sheath with the capsule, wherein the link has an engaging portion including a first surface intersecting with the longitudinal axis; and an engaged portion movable to an opposite position opposite to the first surface and a position spaced away from the first surface in spite of a relative position of the capsule with respect to the sheath, and configured to restrict a separation of the capsule with respect to the sheath when the engaged portion is disposed at the opposition position to contact the first surface, and wherein the capsule is rotatable in response to a rotation force from the sheath when the engaged portion is disposed at the opposition position.
MEDICAL DEVICE, APPLICATOR, AND CLIP UNIT
A medical device, a clip unit, and a method for indwelling a clip unit. The medical device includes a treatment portion, an operation wire that can operate the treatment portion, and a link that can releasably connect the treatment portion and the operation wire. The link includes a hook that includes first and second deformation portions, and a base that can be releasably coupled to the hook. The first deformation portion is capable of being deformed by movement of the operation wire, and the second deformation portion is capable of being deformed by further movement of the operation portion after the first deformation portion is deformed.
CARTRIDGE, CLIP SYSTEM, AND METHOD OF MOUNTING CLIP
A cartridge accommodates a clip unit including an arm member and a tubular housing, and is configured so that the clip unit is able to be mounted in an applicator having a sheath and an operation wire. The cartridge includes a main body in which an insertion hole into which the sheath is inserted is formed and a pusher configured to be movable with respect to the main body.
