Wide Hemostasis Clip
A device for treating tissue includes a capsule extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end and including a channel extending therethrough, the capsule releasably coupled to a proximal portion of the device and clip jaws, proximal ends of which are slidably received within the channel of the capsule so that the clip jaws are movable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. Clip jaws are configured so that a distance between the distal ends of the clip jaws in an open configuration is between 15 and 18 millimeters. Clip jaws further include barbs extending from a distal portion thereof.
SNAP LINK-TYPE SURGICAL CLIP
A surgical clip includes a first clamping leg and a second clamping leg, the two clamping legs, when in use, being movable towards each other such that they squeeze a blood vessel shut and are linked to each other via a connecting piece which applies a closing force forcing the two clamping jaws towards each other, with two additional springs being provided in addition to the connecting piece which functions as the main spring and amplifying the closing force, the additional springs being arranged in parallel to the main spring and acting in opposite directions.
CLIP DEVICE FOR ENDOSCOPE AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING INDWELLING CLIP
A clip device for an endoscope of the present invention comprises an outer tubular body 70; an inner tubular body 80 provided in the outer tubular body 70; a line member 50 placed in the inner tubular body 80; and a pinching part 20, for holding an indwelling clip, connected to a distal side of the line member 50; wherein the pinching part 20 has two pinching base plates 30a and 30b, a blade part 40a is provided at a distal end of the pinching base plate 30a and formed toward an inside of the pitching base plate 30a, a blade part 40b is provided at a distal end of the pinching base plate 30b and formed toward an inside of the pinching base plate 30b, a Young's modulus of the blade part 40a is smaller than that of the pinching base plate 30a, and a Young's modulus of the blade part 40b is smaller than that of the pinching base plate 30b.
Novel Vascular Clamp
The present invention relates to vascular clamps, in particular, a clamp designed to clamp a vein or artery such as an umbilical vascular, without severing the vasculature.
CLIP APPLIER WITH STABILIZING MEMBER
A clip applier may be configured to apply a surgical clip to tissue. The clip applier may include a first jaw member, a second jaw member, and a stabilizing member, each configured to engage the surgical clip. The stabilizing member may be configured to move longitudinally with respect to the clip applier from a first position at least partially between the first and second jaw members to a second position at least partially between the first and second jaw members. The longitudinal movement of the stabilizing member may be constrained to longitudinal movement between the first and second positions. The stabilizing member may include first and second sidewalls on a distal portion, where the first and second sidewalls are configured to stabilize the surgical clip in a lateral direction. The clip applier may include a hinge pin received in a longitudinal channel of the stabilizing member.
MEDICAL CLIP DEVICE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING MEDICAL CLIP DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THEREOF
A medical clip device includes an outer tubular body; an inner tubular body provided in the outer tubular body; a clip provided at a distal side of the inner tubular body; and a line member including a first end part, a second end part, and a middle part, wherein the first end part and the second end part extend out of the inner tubular body from an inside of the inner tubular body at a proximal side of the inner tubular body, and the middle part is hung on the clip at the distal side of the inner tubular body.
CLIP APPLIER
A clip applier may be configured to apply a surgical clip. The clip applier may include a first jaw member and a second jaw member, where the first jaw member is configured to pivot between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The clip applier may also include a first leaf spring configured to bias the first jaw member into the open configuration, and a tubular member configured to advance over the first jaw member to cam the first jaw member into a closed configuration against the bias of the first leaf spring. The clip applier may further include a second leaf spring configured to bias the second jaw member into the open configuration, and a tubular member configured to advance over the second jaw member to cam the second jaw member into a closed configuration against the bias of the second leaf spring.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PERCUTANEOUS DELIVERY AND DEPLOYMENT OF A CARDIAC VALVE PROSTHESIS
Catheter apparatuses and methods are provided for repairing heart valves, particularly mitral valves. The method includes providing a catheter having an elongate, flexible body, with a proximal end and a distal end. The distal end can be transluminally advanced from the left atrium through the mitral valve. A distal anchor zone or portion coupled with the proximal end can extend and along the left ventricular outflow tract into the ascending aorta. A valve repair device is deployed to permanently connect leaflets at a mid-section of a mitral valve while permitting medial and lateral portions of the natural leaflets to open and close. The catheter apparatuses may be positionable using a steering device. The valve repair device detachably connects the distal and proximal ends of the catheter. The valve repair device can be detached using low profile devices actuatable from the proximal or distal ends, e.g., at a venous or arterial access site.
Vascular implant
A medical implant (20) includes first and second ring members (22, 24), each including a resilient framework (26) having a generally cylindrical form. A tubular sleeve (28) is fixed to the first and second ring members so as to hold the ring members in mutual longitudinal alignment, thereby defining a lumen (32) passing through the ring members. A constricting element (30) is fit around the sleeve at a location intermediate the first and second ring members so as to reduce a diameter of the lumen at the location.
