Nasolacrimal Compression Device
A device is used to temporarily compress the nasolacrimal ducts to reduce outflow of eyedrop during and after eyedrop instillation. The device is to be hand bended to snuggly fit any adult head sizes with any facial features so that the nose pads may apply firm pressure over the nasal aspect of the orbital rim where nasolacrimal ducts lay underneath the skin. The pressure delivered by the device is consistent and is controllable by the user. The device includes failure mechanism to protect against excessive pressure. By keeping eyedrops in the eye, medication absorption is improved and bitter taste due to eydrop outflow is reduced or eliminated. It alleviates the burden of manual nasolacrimal occlusion currently practiced by eye patients and is best for frequent, multiple eyedrops users.

CLOSURE DEVICE WITH FIXED JAW HOOK
A device includes a capsule extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end and including a channel extending therethrough. The capsule is releasably coupled to a proximal portion of the device. Device also includes a first arm rigidly fixed to the distal end of the capsule to extend distally therefrom. In addition, Device includes a second arm, a proximal end of which is slidably received within the capsule so that the second arm is movable between an open configuration, in which the second arm is moved laterally away from the first arm and a distal end of the second arm is moved distally past the distal end of the first arm, and a closed configuration, in which the second arm is moved toward the first arm and the distal end of the second arm is moved proximally toward the distal end of the first arm.
Elongated assemblies for surgical clip appliers and surgical clip appliers incorporating the same
A surgical clip applier and an elongated assembly thereof. The elongated assembly includes an outer shaft, an end effector assembly extending distally from the outer shaft and including first and second spaced-apart arms having first and second jaws disposed at respective free ends thereof, and an inner drive sleeve including a bearing assembly slidably disposed about the end effector assembly. The bearing assembly includes first and second bearing rollers positioned adjacent the first and second spaced-apart arms. Sliding of the bearing assembly from a proximal position to a distal position rolls the bearing rollers along the spaced-apart arms to urge the first and second spaced-apart arms towards one another, thereby moving the first and second jaws from a spaced-apart position to an approximated position to apply a surgical clip about tissue disposed between the first and second jaws.
Multiple clip deployment magazine
An apparatus for deployment of multiple hemostatic clips, comprises a shaft connected to a handle and a control linkage operatively connected to the handle in combination with a magazine disposed at a distal end of the shaft, the magazine containing a plurality of clips arranged in a chain rotatable within the magazine, wherein a proximal-most one of the clips is coupled to the control linkage, a distal portion of the magazine being contoured to permit opening of a distal-most one of the clips during a distal stroke of the control linkage, and to assist closing and locking of the distal-most clip during a proximal stroke of the control linkage, the magazine including an expanded chamber sized to allow opening in any rotational orientation of a next clip located immediately proximal to the distal-most clip to a degree sufficient to disengage the distal-most clip. A method for deploying multiple hemostatic clips, comprises positioning a distal end of a magazine containing a clip chain over selected target tissue and actuating a control link of the magazine in a distal stroke to open and distally translate a distal-most clip of the clip chain in combination with orienting the open distal-most clip in a desired orientation to grasp the target tissue and actuating the control link in a proximal stroke to close and lock the distal-most clip over the target tissue. The control link is further actuated in the proximal stroke to move a next clip immediately proximal to the distal-most clip into an expanded portion of the magazine sized to allow the next clip to open to a degree sufficient to release the distal-most clip regardless of a circumferential orientation of the next clip.
DEVICE FOR TREATING A BODY TISSUE, AND ASSOCIATED TREATMENT KIT
The invention relates to a device (12) for treating a body tissue presenting a prolapse. The device comprises: at least two arms (14, 16), each arm having a distal end (40) for gripping the tissue, a proximal maneuvering end (42) opposite the distal gripping end, and an elongate portion (44) comprised between the distal gripping end and the proximal maneuvering end, each elongate portion extending along a main direction (X).
Furthermore, each arm is rotatable between an angular catching position (a1, a2) and an angular clamping position (e1, e2) around a rotation axis (A1, A2) substantially parallel to the main direction, and the device comprises a guide member (25) able to limit the transverse movement of the arms relative to one another along a direction perpendicular to the main direction.
TOWING DEVICE FOR ENDOSCOPY
A towing device for endoscopy including a connecting portion connected to a wire of an endoscope to be moved, wherein a body of the connecting portion is broken when a set amount of tension or more is applied to the connecting portion; a guide portion including an inner path through which the connecting portion moves; a clip portion positioned at an opposite direction of the wire with respect to the guide portion and hooked by the connecting portion to be closed and grip body tissues; and an extension portion configured to move together with the guide portion and having a magnetic force.
