A garment (10) comprising a grip coating located on inner and outer surfaces of a garment section (12) so as to generate in use friction between a wearer's skin and the garment (10) and friction between the garment (10) and an external contact surface. The grip coating includes a first array of grip elements (14) located on the inner surface of the garment section (12) and a second array of grip elements (16) located on the outer surface of the garment section (12). The first and second arrays are arranged relative to each other so that the grip elements (14,16) of the first and second arrays are offset relative to each other and do not overlie or overlap each other.

There is herein described an improved type of sock (100) mainly for use during sporting activities. In particular, the present invention relates to socks which have improved grip and/or airflow during use.

A foot cover including a stretchable lattice configured to be worn over a foot of a user. The stretchable lattice being fitted to a shape of a human foot. The stretchable lattice is an elastomer. The stretchable lattice defines a first plurality of openings and a second plurality of openings. The foot cover includes a first end of the stretchable lattice enclosing toes of the foot of the user. The foot cover includes a second end of the stretchable lattice defining an opening for receiving the foot of the user, wherein first end includes the first plurality of openings that are smaller than the second plurality of openings associated with a body of the stretchable lattice.

An improved system and method for keeping articles of clothing properly fixed in place. Embodiments include a first article of clothing and a second article of clothing. Embodiments further include having one or more climbing skin fabrics having a plurality of fibers affixed to a first article of clothing. The one or more climbing skin fabrics having the plurality of fibers allow movement of the second article of clothing in one direction with respect to the first article of clothing while impeding movement of the second article of clothing in the other unwanted direction.

A sock has a foot portion and an ankle portion. The foot portion has an upper section, a lower section, side sections, an open rear section, and a closed forward toe section. The ankle portion has a top section and a bottom section. A forward friction zone on the foot portion is formed of a plurality of forward threads laterally spaced and extending longitudinally. The forward threads are fabricated of an elastomeric material woven into the lower section and extending rearwardly from the closed forward toe section. The forward threads are coplanar with the lower section. A rearward friction zone on the foot portion is formed of a plurality of rearward threads longitudinally spaced and extending latitudinally. The rearward threads are fabricated of an elastomeric material woven into the lower section and extending forwardly from the open rear section. The rearward threads are coplanar with the lower section.

This invention is a one-use, disposable hygienic shower sock for wearing in showers, locker rooms, or other similar areas where bare feet come into contact with damp or wet floors. The shower sock is made of a biodegradable plastic or fabric material with a water permeable upper portion and a water-proof sole. The inside of the shower sock may be treated with one or more preventative or treatment applications, such as an anti-fungal agent, an anti-bacterial agent, a plantar wart guard, a foot detox product, an anti-microbial agent, or an anti-viral agent. A sensory stimulating garment for engaging the senses of an infant includes an upper body portion defining a head opening and a lower body portion having a pair of leg members. A zipper is in operative communication with the upper and lower body portions, the zipper having a slider engaged with a plurality of teeth and configured to open the garment from the leg opening to adjacent the head opening. A first sensory member is positioned on the upper body portion adjacent the head opening that includes a first tactile surface and a second tactile surface different than the first tactile surface. Additional sensory members may be positioned on the upper body portioneach having tactile characteristics different than any other sensory member so as to stimulate different tactile senses of an infant who may touch them while wearing the garment.

A wearing set capable of preventing overlapped articles from sliding past each other, including a first wearing article having at least one first engaging effect zone, and a second wearing article having at least one second engaging effect zone; where one zone of the first engaging effect zone and the second engaging effect zone has a tangling-hairs fabric and the other zone has a textured-loops fabric, the tangling-hairs fabric including a plurality of tangling-hairs fibers protruding outwardly from a surface thereof, the tangling-hairs fibers having curled terminals or ball-shaped terminals; the textured-loops fabric including a plurality of fibriform loops on a surface thereof; and when the tangling-hairs fabric and the textured-loops fabric are overlapped to contact each other, the fibriform loops will be engaged or adhered with the tangling-hairs fibers to prevent the first wearing article from sliding relative to the second wearing article.
