ULTRASONIC OSTEOTOME BIT
An ultrasonic osteotome bit, comprising a bit body (1), a bit bar (2) and a bit tip (3). One end of the bit bar (2) is connected to the bit tip (3), and the other end of the bit bar (2) is connected to the bit body (1). The bit tip (3) is of a prism or substantially prism structure with the cross section of a polygonal structure, and the bit tip (2) has at least two cutting faces of different cutting widths. The bit is provided with a liquid flow hole (41), and the bit tip (3) is provided with a knurled structure that extends from a foremost end face of the bit tip (3) towards the bit bar (2) to form a file-type bit. The ultrasonic osteotome bit not only meets the requirement of a surgeon for the accuracy of bone cutting width, but also saves the time required to replace bits of different widths, thereby improving the surgical efficiency.
END EFFECTOR OF A SURGICAL ROBOTIC MANIPULATOR INCLUDING A GRIP SENSING MECHANISM FOR MANUAL OPERATION OF THE END EFFECTOR
An end effector is disclosed for use with a surgical robotic manipulator and a cutting accessory. The end effector comprises a nose tube for receiving the cutting accessory and an actuator for driving the cutting accessory. The end effector may also comprise a mounting fixture for coupling the end effector to the surgical robotic manipulator and a handle for gripping by the user. The handle may be coupled to the nose tube and configured to rotate about the axis of the nose tube. The end effector may also comprise a lever coupled to the handle and moveable between depressed and released positions. The end effector may further comprise an activator coupled to the lever and configured to interact with a sensor for sensing the position of the lever.
Device and method for treating osteonecrosis
The present invention includes a method and devices for treating osteonecrosis in, e.g., children, adolescents, and adults comprising: identifying a subject in need of treatment for osteonecrosis; drilling two or more holes into a bone in need of treatment for osteonecrosis; inserting two or more needles or cannulas into the holes in the bone; washing an interior of the bone with a washing fluid introduced through one or more of the needles or cannulas inserted into the bone; and after washing the interior of the bone introducing one or more bone growth promoting materials or cells into the bone.
NEUROSURGICAL ULTRASONIC FOCUSING ASSISTED THREE-STAGE ATOMIZATION COOLING AND POSTOPERATIVE WOUND FILM FORMING DEVICE
A neurosurgical ultrasonic focusing assisted three-stage atomization cooling and postoperative wound film forming device has a transducer housing and a nozzle, wherein a horn is arranged in the transducer housing, at least two layers of piezoelectric ceramic sheets are arranged at the top of the horn, an electrode sheet connected with an ultrasonic generator is arranged between two adjacent layers of piezoelectric ceramic sheets, the bottom of the transducer housing is of a hemispherical structure, and a plurality of piezoelectric elements connected with the ultrasonic generator are arranged inside the hemispherical structure; and the nozzle is arranged at the bottom of the horn and connected with a medical nanofluid storage cup, compressed gas can also be introduced into the nozzle, and an electrode is also arranged inside the nozzle.
Ultrasonic surgical instrument with cooling conduit
An apparatus includes a body assembly, an acoustic waveguide, an ultrasonic blade, and a liquid dispensing feature. The ultrasonic blade is positioned distally relative to the body assembly. The ultrasonic blade is in acoustic communication with the acoustic waveguide. The liquid dispensing feature is positioned distally relative to the body assembly. The liquid dispensing feature is positioned adjacent to the ultrasonic blade. The liquid dispensing feature is configured to deliver a flow of cooling liquid to the ultrasonic blade.
ULTRASONIC OSTEOTOME BIT
Disclosed is an ultrasonic osteotome bit, which comprises a bit bar (1), a bit tip (2), and a liquid injection portion (3), one end of the liquid injection portion (3) being connected to the bit bar (1) and the other end of the liquid injection portion (3) being connected to the bit tip (2), wherein the ultrasonic osteotome bit further comprises a hollow liquid injection channel (10), the hollow liquid injection channel (10) penetrates from a tail end of the bit bar (1) to the liquid injection portion (3) along an axial direction of the bit bar (1), the liquid injection portion (3) is provided with a transverse liquid guide channel (20) penetrating transversely, i.e. substantially perpendicular to an axis of the bit bar (1), the transverse liquid guide channel (20) is in communication with the hollow liquid injection channel (10), and the transverse liquid guide channel (20) forms openings in lateral faces of the liquid injection portion (3). The ultrasonic osteotome bit allows a cooling liquid to sufficiently flow to the bit without being excited or scattered by ultrasonic vibration, thereby ensuring that the bit tip (2) is sufficiently cooled during use.
BONE PREPARATION APPARATUS AND METHOD
A system and method for improving installation of a prosthesis. Devices include prosthesis installation tools, prosthesis assembly tools, site preparation systems, and improved power tools used in implant site preparation, the tools including a secondary motion that preferably includes an ultrasonic vibration.
End effector with liquid delivery system
An end effector includes a drive system to rotatably drive a removeable cutting accessory. The cutting accessory defines a bore. The drive system includes a drive member that defines a lumen. A cartridge is provided to deliver liquid from a liquid source, through the lumen of the drive member, through the bore of the cutting accessory, and to a surgical site.
Attachment for a Powered Surgical Tool
A front end attachment for a powered surgical tool comprises a nose and an irrigation fitting. The nose extends forward from a proximal end of the nose. The nose defines a bore and an enclosed channel. The bore is for receiving a shaft of a cutting accessory connectable to a motor of the powered surgical tool for rotation thereby. The enclosed channel is separate from the bore. The channel extends longitudinally and helically along the nose such that, as the channel extends longitudinally, the channel curves around the nose so as to curve around the bore. The irrigation fitting is in fluid communication with the enclosed channel in the nose. The irrigation fitting is adapted to receive an irrigating fluid and to flow the fluid through the enclosed channel.
