Systems and methods for intramedullary nail implantation
Intramedullary nails, systems, and methods. The intramedullary nail may include a generally elongate body extending from a first, distal end to a second, proximal end. The distal end may include one or more openings configured to receive one or more bone anchors that extend transversely through the distal end intramedullary nail, and thereby configured to secure the distal end of the nail. The proximal end may also include one or more openings configured to receive one or more bone anchors that extend transversely through the proximal end of the intramedullary nail, and thereby configured to secure the proximal end of the nail. In some embodiments, the proximal opening may contain one or more relief cuts.
Systems and methods for intramedullary nail implantation
Intramedullary nails, aiming guide assemblies, and methods. The aiming guide assembly can include an aiming guide having a collet and a connection bolt configured to engage a connection bolt driver. The connection bolt may be self-retaining and engage with the connection bolt driver in a manner to prevent unintentional disengagement.
AN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE INTRA-OPERATIVE SURGICAL GUIDANCE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
The inventive subject matter is directed to an artificial intelligence intra-operative surgical guidance system and method of use. The artificial intelligence intra-operative surgical guidance system is made of a computer executing one or more automated artificial intelligence models trained on data layer datasets collections to calculate surgical decision risks, and provide intra-operative surgical guidance; and a display configured to provide visual guidance to a user,
PROCEDURE FOR REPAIRING FOOT INJURY
A drill guide assembly having an elongated body is configured with a first and second arm members extending from the elongated body. The second arm member is configured and adapted to be longitudinally movable along the elongated body towards and away from the first arm member for reducing fractured bones for repair. A guide housing provided on the second arm member is fitted with a removable sleeve. The removable sleeve is provided with a longitudinal bore for guiding a guide wire or a drill bit for drilling into the bones.
BONE NAIL
A bone nail for stabilizing a fracture. The bone nail having a head portion and a stem portion. The stem portion offset from the longitudinal axis of the head portion. The nail including a continuous passageway extending from a rear edge of the nail to a front edge of the nail. The continuous passageway including a bore extending longitudinally through the head portion and both a groove and a bore in the stem portion.
Hip or Shoulder Prosthesis and Placement Instruments
A hip/shoulder prosthesis includes: a head component; a metaphyseal component; a diaphyseal nail, and a locking device. The head component includes: a front face and rear face; with a bore, and first and second shaped recesses in the rear face. The metaphyseal component includes: a central transverse aperture at an angle to the metaphyseal component's axis; a first end configured for threaded engagement within the bore of the head component; and a longitudinal hole that begins at the second end, transects the transverse aperture and reaches the first end, to receive the locking device. The diaphyseal nail is inserted in the femoral or humeral canal, and includes: fastening apertures that receive corresponding screws for fastening the diaphyseal nail to the femur or humerus; a portion configured to he received within, and engage, the transverse aperture of the metaphyseal component, and a transverse hole configured to receive the locking device.
BONE TREATMENT GUIDE, BONE TREATMENT GUIDE SET, AND METHOD FOR USING BONE TREATMENT GUIDE
A bone treatment guide, a bone treatment guide set, and a method for using a bone treatment guide are provided that enable a treatment tool, such as a trephine, to be accurately disposed relative to a bone of a patient, and that can keep a positioning member, such as a guide pin, from affecting treatment using the treatment tool. A parallel guide 5 has a positioning guide portion 13 that is to be connected to a guide pin 2, which is to be temporarily fixed to a patient's femur 101, and a treatment tool guide portion 14 configured to be able to guide a trephine 3 for treating the femur 101 toward a position at which the trephine 3 is to enter the inside of the femur 101 and in an entering direction, the treatment tool guide portion 14 being arranged in an area different from the positioning guide portion 13.
Medial buttress construct and a fracture fixation device for femoral neck
A medial buttress construct for femoral neck includes a support part and an attachment fixing part fixedly connected to each other. The support part includes a structure matching an inferior surface of a proximal end of the femoral neck. The attachment fixing part includes structures simultaneously matching a front side surface of a distal end of the femoral neck and a front side surface of an upper end of femoral shaft. The attachment fixing part includes at least one opening for allowing a screw to pass through the structure matching the front side surface of the distal end of the femoral neck, and at least one opening for allowing a screw to pass through the structure matching the front side surface of the upper end of the femoral shaft. A fracture fixation device for femoral neck may include the medial buttress construct for femoral neck.
Correction guide for femoral neck
A device for correcting a placement of a guide wire in a bone includes a body extending from a proximal end to a distal end; a central channel extending through the body from the proximal end to the distal end along a central axis, the central channel sized and shaped to receive a guide wire slidably therein; and a first correction channel extending through the body from the proximal end to the distal end. The first correction channel is sized and shaped to receive a guide wire therein at an angle relative to the central axis of the central axis of the central channel.
