CELLULITE TREATMENT SYSTEM AND METHODS
Systems and methods for treating cellulite including an apparatus that applies or a method involving separating septa to eliminate or reduce the appearance of cellulite. In one approach, an interventional tool is placed between tissue layers to engage and treat septa connecting tissue layers between which fat deposits are contained.
SURGICAL DEVICE FOR USE IN ENDOSCOPIC CARPAL TUNNEL RELEASE (ECTR), ENDOSCOPIC CUBITAL TUNNEL RELEASE (ECUTR), AND ENDOSCOPIC PLANTAR FASCIITIS RELEASE (EPFR)
A disposable, sterile guide constructed of medically-acceptable plastic used for compartmentalizing and therefore protecting the ligament or fascia during three different orthopedic surgical procedures: ECTR, ECuTR, and EPFR. This device reduces the risk of damage to any other part of the surrounding anatomy. The device is disposable and packaged so as to be sterile and therefore readily usable by the surgeon means that it can reduce the risk of infection and is a less expensive alternative to traditional non-disposable, metal instruments that must be sterilized prior to each procedure.
Endoscopic surgical blade and use thereof
An endoscopic surgical blade is disclosed. The blade is part of an endoscopic knife assembly which also has a knife tube and alignment ring. The endoscopic knife assembly is for use in endoscopic surgery by insertion of the assembly though a slotted cannula. The knife tube is hollow and allows the insertion of an endoscope for viewing of the surgical procedure. The blade has an upper and a lower cutting surface on the forward edge, which meet at an angle at a crotch.
SURGICAL DEVICE
An endoscopic surgical device for an endoscopic surgical procedure includes a slotted clear cannula with a tubular body having a distal end, a proximate end and a slot extending longitudinally therethrough. A pair of wings near the proximal end of the slotted clear cannula extend outward from the tubular body. The tubular body is made from a transparent material. The slotted clear cannula may be part of an endoscopic surgical blade assembly in which the cannula is attached to a housing enclosing a blade slidably oriented in the cannula. A kit comprising the endoscopic surgical device and a method for a performing a uniportal endoscopic surgical procedure using the endoscopic surgical device are also described.
TRAY FOR A SOFT TISSUE CUTTING DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE
A soft tissue cutting device and methods of cutting soft tissue are disclosed. The soft tissue cutting device includes a blade having a blade working end. One or more balloons are disposed in proximity of the blade working end, and an inflation assembly configured inflate the one or more balloons is included. The inflation assembly includes a fill port in fluid communication with a bellows, and the one or more balloons.
TRAY FOR A SOFT TISSUE CUTTING DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE
Methods of using a soft tissue cutting device are disclosed. The methods include providing the soft tissue cutting device, positioning the soft tissue cutting device in a priming slot of a tray configured for receiving and holding the soft tissue cutting device, attaching a priming syringe to the soft tissue cutting device, priming a balloon disposed on a distal end of the soft tissue cutting device by equalizing a first pressure inside the balloon to a second pressure inside the priming syringe, removing the soft tissue cutting device from the priming slot, and positioning the distal end of the soft tissue cutting device on a safety slot included in the tray to determine whether the tissue cutting device has been properly primed.
Guide for surgical purpose
This invention provides a guide for surgical purpose, comprising: a long column body, being in a hollow shape, an upper side thereof having a semi-cylinder, a bottom side thereof having a cuboid, and an inside thereof being provided with an elongated slot, in which an interior of the semi-cylinder is in communication with an interior of the cuboid; a wing-shaped part, being in a wing shape, and disposed at one end of the long column body and engaged with one side of the cuboid and extending from both ends of the one side of the cuboid, for grasping during surgery; a limiting piece, being in a ring shape and socketing the other end of the long column body and engaging with the other side of the cuboid, for withstanding the tissues during surgery; and a replaceable expander, being disposed in the elongated slot, for expanding and opening a surgical incision of tissues, wherein the replaceable expander is replaceable with another expander of different dimension in a stepwise manner via the one side of the cuboid proximate to the wing-shaped part and inside the elongated slot, thereby for expanding.
Systems, devices, and non-invasive surgical methods for treating plantar fasciitis and chronic heel spur syndrome
A method of treating plantar fasciitis or chronic heel spur syndrome includes inserting a first needle having a distal tip into a plantar aspect of a foot and advancing the distal tip to a location where a plantar fascia originates, and inserting a second needle having a distal tip into a medial aspect of the foot and advancing the distal tip of the second needle to the location where the plantar fascia originates. Medical imaging confirms that the distal tips of the first and second needles are located where the plantar fascia originates. After medical imaging, the second needle is removed from the foot, and a third needle having a sharpened distal tip is inserted into a medial opening formed by the second needle. The sharpened distal tip of the third needle is advanced through the medial opening to the location where the plantar fascia originates. Medical imaging confirms the location of the sharpened distal tip of the third needle. The sharpened distal tip of the third needle is used to cut the plantar fascia. After cutting the plantar fascia, the third needle is removed from the foot. A fourth needle coupled with a syringe containing a growth factor is inserted into the medial opening in the foot, and a distal tip of the fourth needle is advanced to the location where the plantar fascia originates. Medical imaging confirms the location of the distal tip of the fourth needle. The syringe coupled with the fourth needle is engaged for injecting the growth factor into the plantar fascia.
MODULAR, ASSEMBLED SURGICAL INSTRUMENT
A surgical device including a cannula having a base member at a proximal end, a sidewall connected to the base member, and a bore defined by the base member and sidewall. The sidewall further has an opening into the bore between axially-extending edges of the sidewall. A configurable guide insert includes a combination track having a circular opening for insertion of a camera device and a slot opening for insertion of a cutting instrument. The configurable guide insert may be permanently or detachably coupled to the base member and is positionable in a right orientation for a procedure in a patient's right side or in a left orientation for a procedure in a patient's left side. The combination track slidably receives a camera device through the circular opening into the bore and slidably receives a surgical implement through the slot opening and into an action area outside the bore.
Surgical Instrument
A surgical instrument with a handle and a blade disposed thereon having a concavely developed cutting edge, wherein the blade comprises a plane, wherein the surgical instrument comprises ultrasound visibility-enhancing media.
