DEVICE FOR PERCUTANEOUS DILATIONAL TRACHEOTOMY
20230102704 · 2023-03-30 · ·

To be able to prevent a situation in which, in percutaneous dilational tracheostomy, the guide catheter already inserted into the trachea can kink, a device for percutaneous dilational tracheostomy is disclosed which has a puncture needle, a guide catheter and a guidewire. The puncture needle has a ground tip at its distal end. The maximum external diameter of the puncture needle is smaller than the minimum internal diameter of the guide catheter, and the puncture needle is insertable so far into the guide catheter that the ground tip of the puncture needle protrudes beyond the distal end of the guide catheter. The maximum diameter of the guidewire is smaller than the minimum internal diameter of the puncture needle, with the result that the guidewire can be guided through the puncture needle such that its end protrudes beyond the ground tip of the puncture needle.

COAXIAL BIOPSY NEEDLE WITH INTEGRATED STYLET AND ANESTHESIA NEEDLE ARRANGED WITH LOCKING MEANS WITH PREDETERMINED AND DIFFERENT RELEASE TORQUES
20230096140 · 2023-03-30 ·

The invention relates to coaxial needle assembly (41) for introduction into human tissue, comprising an anesthesia needle (11), a stylet (21) and a coaxial cannula (31), wherein the anesthesia needle is inserted in the stylet and has a distal end (12) that projects out from a distal end (22) of the stylet, and wherein the stylet is inserted in the coaxial cannula and has a distal end (22) that projects out from a distal end (32) of the coaxial cannula, such that, during introduction into and through human tissue, the coaxial needle assembly acts and is manipulated as an integrated device. The assembly is arranged with a predetermined needle-stylet release torque which is required to release the anesthesia needle (11) from the stylet (21), and a predetermined stylet-cannula release torque which is required to release the stylet (21) from the coaxial cannula (31), wherein the value of predetermined needle-stylet release torque is less than the value of predetermined stylet-cannula release torque.

CRANIOCEREBRAL OPERATION PASSAGE
20230033952 · 2023-02-02 ·

A craniocerebral operation passage is provided, including a guide device, a trocar, and an outer sheath. The guide device is used for penetrating into the brain of a patient; a connection hole is provided in the middle of the trocar and passes through the trocar in a direction of a central axis of the trocar; the connection hole and the trocar are coaxially disposed; the trocar can sheathe on a periphery of the guide device through the connection hole and can slide in a lengthwise direction of the guide device; the outer sheath is internally hollow for providing an operation passage; and the outer sheath can sheathe the periphery of the trocar. The craniocerebral operation passage is accurately located and can effectively protect brain tissues of a patient.

Body Cavity Access Device

A handheld body cavity access device includes a handle having a distal end, a proximal end, a longitudinal axis, and a cavity. A dilator assembly has a proximal end coupled to the handle and a distal end. A blade assembly is at least partially disposed within the dilator assembly and has a proximal end, a distal end, and a blade hub coupled to the proximal end and disposed in the cavity of the handle. The dilator assembly is movable axially between a retracted position, in which a distal end of the blade assembly extends from the distal end of the dilator assembly, and an extended position, in which the distal end of the blade assembly is covered by the distal end of the dilator assembly. The blade hub includes a body defining a bore aligned with the longitudinal axis and a tab extending away from the longitudinal axis.
