Each cup has an inner contour having a diameter size as well as an outer contour having an outer diameter defined by an outer diameter size, and an outer apex having a projection distance from the outer diameter. A filling material is provided between the inner contour and the outer contour and being located on each cup so as to, when the brassiere is worn, press against the rib cage and expand and spread the outer diameter. Wherein for a cup-to-cup range of more than 12 inches and less than 14 inches, the diameter size and the projection distance have values that satisfy an equation as follows: y=0.69x+11.24, where y=the diameter size and x=the projection distance.

A removable underwire attachment that is externally inserted over a cup of a brassiere is provided. The underwire attachment may include a U-shape wire that includes a first curved portion configured with a first end seamlessly coupled to a second curved portion configured with a second end. The first end and the second end may be inserted along a bottom portion of a cup of the brassiere to removably fasten the attachment to the brassiere for additional support and shape.

A breast supporting garment such as a shirt, bra or similar garment has a body section having a front bust section for supporting a woman's breasts. A band of elastic material is provided under the bust section for shape and support. Another band of elastic material is provided around the bottom of the garment and helps keep it from riding up. The bust section of the garment should be formed from two layers of fabric adhered with elastomeric adhesive. The fabric should be free cut knit fabric having a high level of spandex. The bra will be lightweight and free feeling, as if it is not there.

A breast supporting garment and a method for producing it, the garment having at least one layer made of a fabric comprises a breast receiving portion bounded by a frame portion disposed at least partially below the breast receiving portion. The frame portion comprises a fabric reinforcing element in the form of a coating made of a material having, when in a liquid state during a coating process, having a capability to stay contained within an area of the fabric, to which the material is applied, and to penetrate the fabric to a part of the thickness of the fabric, at least in a portion of the area. The material, when solidified, has a lower elasticity than that of the fabric.

UNDERWIRE CASING

A brassiere includes a body portion configured to at least partially encircle a wearer of the brassiere. The body portion includes a torso band configured to at least partially encircle a wearer of the brassiere, and a pair of breast cups including a first breast cup and a second breast cup. The pair of breast cups are configured to support breasts of the wearer. The brassiere further includes an under-bust support adhered to the body portion adjacent to a lower periphery of the pair of breast cups.

Most bras focus on the push up function along the lower half of the bra band while lacking effective retaining measures along the neckline.
