SUPPORT SYSTEMS FOR SUPPORTING EQUIPMENT
Support system for supporting equipment comprising: a back support; shelves spaced from one another and extending from the back support and arranged to support the equipment, each shelf comprising: a connecting mechanism for providing a connected position in which the equipment is connected to the given shelf such that separation of the given shelf and the equipment along a first axis is blocked but relative movement along a second axis is possible; a locking mechanism for providing a locked position in which relative movement of the equipment and the given shelf along the second axis is blocked; and a release mechanism for releasing the locked position to permit the relative movement along the second axis, the release mechanism including an actuator on the given shelf or the equipment which can be actuated by a user.
SURGICAL SYSTEM HAVING ASSISTED NAVIGATION
A surgical navigation system comprises a computer system, a tracking system and a projector. The computer system includes instructions for performing a surgical plan. The tracking system is electronically connected to the computer system and has a viewing area in which markers can be located within a three-dimensional space relative to the viewing area. The projector is electronically connected to the computer system and has a beam projectable into the viewing area to display a step of the surgical plan based on a location of a marker. A method for guiding a surgical instrument comprises tracking a surgical instrument within a three-dimensional space using a computer-operated tracking system, matching the surgical instrument to a step in a surgical plan for conducting the surgical procedure using the surgical instrument, and projecting a visual instruction into the three-dimensional space for the step in the surgical plan related to the instrument.
System for simultaneously heating multiple surgical viewing instruments
A system for simultaneously heating multiple elongated surgical viewing instruments comprises a heater with a slot and an insert received by the slot. The insert has multiple elongate cavities, each configured to receive the tip of a viewing instrument. A cover, configured to cover the heater with the insert in the slot thereof, provides a plurality of openings aligned with the cavities of the insert. In the preferred embodiment, the heater is reusable and the insert and cover are disposable. The insert and cover may be integrally joined into a single unit. The system may further include a stand upon which the heater is supported, one or more cavities to receive cleaning swabs to be heated, and/or a pad to heat a cleaning wipe or other article.

X-ray device
An X-ray device has a detector which is arranged on a mobile unit and is assigned to a first positioning unit. An X-ray source is arranged on an arcuate second positioning unit. The positioning of the first and second positioning units can be matched to one another in the course of their movements. The first positioning unit has at least one articulated arm and the second positioning unit has a first and a second arc-shaped positioning element. The first and second positioning units are arranged separately from one another on a movable unit.
SACRIFICIAL MECHANICAL LINK
A sacrificial mechanical link for linking a first mechanical element to a second mechanical element includes: a sacrificial element having a first end and a second end; and a first mechanical element removably connected to the first end of the sacrificial element. A method of using a sacrificial mechanical link includes: coupling a first mechanical element to a second mechanical element with a sacrificial element; and applying a force to a one of the first mechanical element and the second mechanical element to cause deformation of the sacrificial element.
Accessory Support And Coupling Systems For An Accessory Support
The present disclosure provides a coupling system for coupling a medical accessory to an accessory support is provided. The present disclosure also provides a system for powering a medical accessory with an accessory support.

DETACHABLE MOTOR POWERED SURGICAL INSTRUMENT
A detachable motor-powered surgical instrument. The instrument may include a housing that includes at least one engagement member for removably attaching the housing to an actuator arrangement. A motor is supported within the housing for supplying actuation motions to various portions of a surgical end effector coupled to the housing. The housing may include a contact arrangement that is configured to permit power to be supplied to the motor only when the housing is operably attached to the actuator arrangement.
SURGICAL ITEM COUNTING STATION AND METHOD OF USE
A surgical item counting station for providing organization and efficiency in counting items and communicating information. The surgical item counting station comprises a top plate having a diameter forming a table top surface and being adjacent and perpendicular to a display screen mounted on an adjustable column mounted on a base terminating at feet. The display screen is adapted to receive and display information about at least one item and general communications. A shelf having a substantially equal diameter to the top plate and being located below and in parallel to the top plate is provided. The shelf includes shelf side walls with a mounting means adapted for mounting at least one container device below the top plate. Preferably the container device is a sponge count bag. Preferably the shelf is a rotational shelf while the top plate or table top is non-rotational.
