Medical monitor pouch
A bag is provided for a medical monitor attachable to a litter. The bag includes a housing satchel, an upper cowl, a harness, and first and second flaps. The upper cowl closes an upper opening through which the satchel receives the monitor. The first flap connects to a front side of the satchel from a bottom edge and secures at a top edge by detachable buttons. The first flap includes a window for viewing the monitor. The second flap connects to the first flap to reversibly cover the window. The harness attaches the satchel to the litter. The satchel further includes a utility pocket connected to the satchel at a bottom edge and flexible for rolling underneath the satchel.
System and method for instrument tracking
Disclosed is a device and method for tracking one or more instrument in a surgical kit. The method comprises receiving one or more signals from a first set of sensors and activating a second set of sensors based on the one or more signals. Further to activating, the method comprises receiving data from the second set of sensors and computing, a current state associated with each of the instrument based on the data, and historical data. Furthermore, the method comprises transmitting the current state of the surgical kit, the current state associated with each of the instrument and a location co-ordinate of the surgical kit via a communication channel based on a signal strength of the communication channel and deactivating the tracking device, thereby tracking one or more instrument in a surgical kit.

Embodiments provide a water-resistant VAD bag including an upper unit having the shape of a cylinder, a lower unit having the shape of a cylinder, a controller sleeve, a battery sleeve, two inserted sleeves positioned in between the controller sleeve and the battery sleeve, an inner sleeve, and an inner layer. The upper unit includes a first elongated strap with a clip and second elongated strap without a clip, a cover on top of the upper unit with a handle sewn into the cover, and a zipper around a bottom of the cover. A SYSTEM AND TAMPONADE FOR TREATING PENETRATING WOUNDS
