Eye imaging apparatus and systems
Various embodiments of an eye imaging apparatus are disclosed. In some embodiments, the eye imaging apparatus may comprise a light source, an image sensor, a hand-held computing device, and an adaptation module. The adaptation module comprises a microcontroller and a signal processing unit configured to adapt the hand-held computing device to control the light source and the image sensor. In some embodiments, the imaging apparatus may comprise an exterior imaging module to image an anterior segment of the eye and/or a front imaging module to image a posterior segment of the eye. The eye imaging apparatus may be used in an eye imaging medical system. The images of the eye may be captured by the eye imaging apparatus, transferred to an image computing module, stored in an image storage module, and displayed in an image review module.
Recovery and processing of human embryos formed in vivo
A kit having instructions for use for performing uterine lavage in a female patient includes a uterine lavage catheter configured for insertion into a woman's uterus to remove viable blastocysts from the uterus, and one or more first containers having a sufficient dosage amount of a GnRH antagonist to cause desynchronization of the endometrium of the patient prior to, during and/or following recovery of viable blastocysts from the uterus.
Electrode set, in particular for a defibrillator
An electrode set is disclosed for a defibrillator, the set including at least two electrodes each having a carrier layer, a conductive contact layer, a conductive gel layer, and a non-conductive electrode cover. In the storage state of the electrode set, the electrode covers lie against each other in a planar relationship at least portion-wise, on the side that is remote from the gel layer of the at least two electrodes. The gel layers of the electrodes are directly in contact with each other in a portion-wise manner by way of two openings in the electrode covers.

Carrying bag
A carrying case (500) and handle (504) for accommodating a portable topical negative pressure therapy apparatus (200) comprising a device (202) and a waste canister (204) separable therefrom, the waste canister having an aspiration conduit (274) emerging therefrom is described, the carrying bag comprising an apparatus receiving pouch (502), said pouch having opening and closing means (522, 524) at a lower portion thereof and said handle (504) being directly attached to said apparatus.
IMPROVED CARRIER FOR MAINTAINING PERSONAL INTEGRITY
A carrier for carrying tracheostomy accessories may include a foldable carrier structure. The foldable carrier structure may include at least two compartments. Each compartment of the at least two compartments may be structured and arranged to carry a type of tracheostomy accessory. The carrier may also include an informative guide identifying the type of tracheostomy accessory each compartment is structured and arranged to carry. When the carrier structure is folded in a closed state the at least two compartments may be folded onto one another such that the at least two compartments are inaccessible.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INSTRUMENT TRACKING
Disclosed is a device and method for tracking one or more instrument in a surgical kit. The method comprises receiving one or more signals from a first set of sensors and activating a second set of sensors based on the one or more signals. Further to activating, the method comprises receiving data from the second set of sensors and computing, a current state associated with each of the instrument based on the data, and historical data. Furthermore, the method comprises transmitting the current state of the surgical kit, the current state associated with each of the instrument and a location co-ordinate of the surgical kit via a communication channel based on a signal strength of the communication channel and deactivating the tracking device, thereby tracking one or more instrument in a surgical kit.
KIT FOR HOLDING SAMPLE
Disclosed is a kit for holding samples with a casing having a first portion and a second portion. When the kit is in enclosed state, the first and second portions define closed space therebetween. A mattress having first part and second part holds a refrigerant therein. A temperature of the refrigerant lies within a predefined range of temperature. Stencil(s) having openings of a first type are dimensioned to receive containers therein and to hold containers securely. Each container is capable of holding a sample therein. When the kit is in an enclosed state, the stencil(s) is encased by first and second parts, thereby enabling temperature of samples held in containers to be maintained within predefined range of temperature.
CARRYING CASE FOR STERILE OBJECTS
A carrying case for sterile objects includes: an outer container, having a lid; an optional tamper-proof seal coupled to said lid; a removable inner tray made of thermoplastic polymer; and a handle coupled to said inner tray. In another embodiment, the outer container is constructed of a polymeric material capable of being sanitized to be transported in its entirety into a sterile environment, providing a user with a greater selection of items since the user could have access to the entire contents of the case. The material and design of the case with the removable tray make it lightweight, enable easy and effective cleaning, and minimize the risk of contamination. In an operating room environment, the case provides faster access to required medical equipment while minimizing the risk to patients. The case would also be valuable in research and forensic laboratory environments where contamination is a major concern.
Massage tool case
An instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) system includes a substantially flat massage tool, such as an instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) tool, and a case to hold the substantially flat massage tool in either a storage position or a display position. The case includes a structure with a top surface and the top surface has a recess shaped to receive and situate the first substantially flat tool in a horizontal position relative to the top surface. The structure also includes a slot shaped to receive and situate the substantially flat tool in an angled position extending away from the top surface. If the substantially flat massage tool is placed horizontally into the recess, the IASTM system is in the storage position. If the substantially flat massage tool is placed vertically into the slot, the IASTM system is in the display position.
