Surgical Instrumentation Set
A surgical instrumentation assembly including: a storage tube having a service opening, a sealing member for closing off the service opening, a plurality of surgical instruments for temporary use, and a holder comprising a plurality of attachment elements configured to detachably attach the surgical instruments to the holder. The storage tube contains the holder and the sterile surgical instruments when the sealing member closes off the service opening.
AUGMENTED REALITY SURGICAL TECHNIQUE GUIDANCE
A system and method for using augmented reality device for use during a surgical procedure are described. A system may include an augmented reality device to present a virtual indication, such as a virtual indication of a surgical instrument, a force vector, a direction, or the like. The augmented reality device may present a virtual aspect of a procedure, such as a virtual animation of a step of a procedure. The augmented reality device may present a virtual object, indication, aspect, etc., within a surgical field while permitting the surgical field or aspects of the surgical field to be viewed through the augmented reality display (e.g., presenting virtual objects mixed with real objects).
SURGICAL KIT TRACKING CONTROL DEVICE
Disclosed is a device and method for controlling operations of a tracking device installed in a surgical kit. The method includes receiving one or more signals from an accelerometer in which the accelerometer may be configured to transmit the one or more signals upon detecting change in a state of the surgical kit. Further, the state may be a stationary state and/or an in-motion state. The method further includes activating the tracking device based on the one or more signals and obtaining a location co-ordinate of the surgical kit from the tracking system. The method furthermore includes transmitting the state of the surgical kit and the location co-ordinate of the surgical kit via a communication channel based on a signal strength of the communication channel and deactivating the tracking device, thereby controlling operations of a tracking device installed in a surgical kit.
Massage Tool Case
An instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) system includes a substantially flat massage tool, such as an instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) tool, and a case to hold the substantially flat massage tool in either a storage position or a display position. The case includes a structure with a top surface and the top surface has a recess shaped to receive and situate the first substantially flat tool in a horizontal position relative to the top surface. The structure also includes a slot shaped to receive and situate the substantially flat tool in an angled position extending away from the top surface. If the substantially flat massage tool is placed horizontally into the recess, the IASTM system is in the storage position. If the substantially flat massage tool is placed vertically into the slot, the IASTM system is in the display position.
External case for a wearable medical device
A case for a wearable medical device is provided. The wearable medical device includes internal circuitry enclosed within an external housing. The case includes a first part sized to surround a first portion of the external housing and a second part sized to surround a second portion of the external housing. The first part includes an inner surface with contours configured to receive corresponding contours of the external housing. The first part is connected to the second to form a parting line around the external housing. An assembly including a wearable medical device and an external case is also provided.
RECOVERY AND PROCESSING OF HUMAN EMBRYOS FORMED IN VIVO
A kit having instructions for use for performing uterine lavage in a female patient includes a uterine lavage catheter configured for insertion into a woman's uterus to remove viable blastocysts from the uterus, and one or more first containers having a sufficient dosage amount of a GnRH antagonist to cause desynchronization of the endometrium of the patient prior to, during and/or following recovery of viable blastocysts from the uterus.
Quick Release Tourniquet Carrier
The present invention describes a tourniquet carrier assembly that includes a case comprising a base portion, a lid portion, at least one aperture in the case, and at least one groove operable to receive at least one corresponding tab, a tourniquet, and a band configured to receive the case and bound the lid portion to the base portion. Without the carrier strap, the base portion is configured to engage but not attach to the lid portion when each groove receives each corresponding tab, and the tab and groove connections are operable to prevent lateral displacement but allow vertical displacement of the lid portion from the base portion.
USER-INCONTINENCE CLEANING KIT AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
A user-incontinence cleaning kit including at least one of a scent blocker and a facial mask, a plurality of gloves sized configured to be worn by the user in an overlapping relationship with respect to each other and corresponding to a select order of use for cleaning a patient, and a plurality of incontinence pads sized and shaped to be interposed between a backside of a patient and a top of a patient support structure.
CARRYING BAG
A carrying case (500) and handle (504) for accommodating a portable topical negative pressure therapy apparatus (200) comprising a device (202) and a waste canister (204) separable therefrom, the waste canister having an aspiration conduit (274) emerging therefrom is described, the carrying bag comprising an apparatus receiving pouch (502), said pouch having opening and closing means (522, 524) at a lower portion thereof and said handle (504) being directly attached to said apparatus.
ELECTRODE SET, IN PARTICULAR FOR A DEFIBRILLATOR
An electrode set is disclosed for a defibrillator, the set including at least two electrodes each having a carrier layer, a conductive contact layer, a conductive gel layer, and a non-conductive electrode cover. In the storage state of the electrode set, the electrode covers lie against each other in a planar relationship at least portion-wise, on the side that is remote from the gel layer of the at least two electrodes. The gel layers of the electrodes are directly in contact with each other in a portion-wise manner by way of two openings in the electrode covers.
