The present application includes a medical assessment kit for ensuring compliance with regulations during the assessment of a patient. The kit is carried by a carrying device and is configured to hold items to provide a sanitary work space free of cross contamination. Various assessment tools are used in combination with the kit and are transported between a clean area and a dirty area as denoted by various liners. Protection devices may be used by an operator to ensure protection to the medical professional.
