Each generator element of the plurality of generator elements may be independently operable to output one energy type of the plurality of different energy types in the signal direction. When the skin facing surface of the body is positioned relative to the skin, the energy generator may affect tissues associated with or adjacent to the skin by causing one or more generator elements of the plurality of generator elements to output an energy signal in the signal direction with one or more different energy types.

The electric signal detection unit and the data transmission unit are arranged on two opposite surfaces of the tape-like fabric body, and are electrically connected to each other by the electrically conductive unit. The electric signal detection unit includes a sensing portion and a connection portion, wherein the sensing portion is configured to come in contact with a body surface of a living body to detect its physiological signals, and the connection portion is configured to transmit the physiological signals to the data transmission unit. At least one of the tape-like fabric body and the sensing portion includes a heat accumulating fiber for blocking heat dissipated from the body surface of the living body to increase detection efficiency.

An auditory guidance system and method for medical systems and procedures are disclosed. A method for providing auditory guidance during a medical procedure includes selecting a song for playing during the medical procedure. At least a portion of the song is assigned to the medical procedure. Parameter information for at least one parameter associated with the medical procedure is obtained during the medical procedure. The obtained parameter information is compared against predetermined thresholds for each parameter. The portion of the song associated with the parameter information is modified in accordance with the comparison and the modified portion of the song is played to provide auditory guidance during the medical procedure.

The monitors include a housing, an electrocardiographic front end circuit, a memory, and a micro-controller configured to: obtain a series of electrode voltage values based on the sensed electrocardiographic signals; use a plurality of selection schemes to choose one or more of a plurality of compression algorithms associated with each of the selection scheme for testing; test the selected compression algorithms including applying the compression algorithms chosen using each of the selection schemes to a segment of the electrode voltage series; analyze results of the testing; select one or more compression algorithms chosen using one of the selection schemes for compressing at least a portion of the electrode voltage series based on the analysis; obtain a compression of at least the portion of the electrode voltage series; and store the compression within the memory.
