CANNULA SENSING SYSTEM
A cannula sensing system and method include a cannula having at least one biosensor configured to detect a level of one or more biomarkers in blood within a blood vessel of a patient. The biosensors are arranged at or near a distal end of a cannula inserted within the blood vessel. The biosensor may be connected to a wire arranged on and/or within a wall of the cannula.
Electronic device including electrically conductive connection member
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing, a printed circuit board disposed inside the housing and including a first face and a second face that faces away from the first face, a connection member disposed on the first face and electrically connected to the printed circuit board, a switch member disposed on the first face and at least partially overlaps the connection member when viewed from above the first face, and a button member including an electrically conductive member, and disposed to be capable of operating the switch member. The electrically conductive member is electrically connected to the connection member.
Water resistant connector for noninvasive patient monitor
Systems and methods are provided for water resistant connectors. A male connector includes a rib or a draft angle that creates a seal when engaged with a female connector. A male connector includes an overmold that includes or is made of a thermoplastic elastomer. Male or female connectors include molds that include or are made of a thermoplastic polymer, such as polypropylene. A female connector includes spring contacts that fit within individual pockets of the female connector.
WEARABLE ARTICLE, ELECTRONIC MODULE, SYSTEM AND METHOD
A wearable article comprising: a first biosensor; an erasable and programmable memory configured to store information relating to the wearable article and/or the first biosensor; and an interface for connection to an electronic module. The interface is configured to permit the transfer of information between the memory and an electronic module connected to the interface. The electronic module is able to read information from the memory and write information to the memory via the interface. The memory may have a single-wire input-output interface. The information may comprise wearable article size information. The wearable article size information may be used to determine a compensation that should be performed to sensor data received from the wearable article to compensate for electrical properties of the wearable article.
COAXIAL CONNECTOR
A connector assembly and method of attaching the same to one or more biosensor module boards. The connector assembly includes a body portion defining a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface. The connector assembly also includes a coaxial RF connector positioned in the body portion and extending between the first surface and the second surface. The coaxial RF connector includes a ground ring, an RF pin positioned within the ground ring, and dielectric therebetween. The connector assembly is configured to be coupled to an RF detection board such that the coaxial RF connector is operably coupled thereto. The connector assembly is also configured to be connected to a biosensor module board such that the coaxial RF connector is operably connected thereto.
EXPANDABLE CATHETER ASSEMBLY WITH FLEXIBLE PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD (PCB) ELECTRICAL PATHWAYS
Provided is a flex-PCB catheter device that is configured to be inserted into a body lumen. The flex-PCB catheter comprises an elongate shaft, an expandable assembly, a flexible printed circuit board (flex-PCB) substrate, a plurality of electronic components and a plurality of communication paths. The elongate shaft comprises a proximal end and a distal end. The expandable assembly is configured to transition from a radially compact state to a radially expanded state. The plurality of electronic elements are coupled to the flex-PCB substrate and are configured to receive and/or transmit an electric signal. The plurality of communication paths are positioned on and/or within the flex-PCB substrate. The communication paths selectively couple the plurality of electronic elements to a plurality of electrical contacts configured to electrically connect to an electronic module configured to process the electrical signal. The flex-PCB substrate can have multiple layers, including one or more metallic layers. Acoustic matching elements and conductive traces can be includes in the flex-PCB substrate.
Pre-connected analyte sensors
Pre-connected analyte sensors are provided. A pre-connected analyte sensor includes a sensor carrier attached to an analyte sensor. The sensor carrier includes a substrate configured for mechanical coupling of the sensor to testing, calibration, or wearable equipment. The sensor carrier also includes conductive contacts for electrically coupling sensor electrodes to the testing, calibration, or wearable equipment.
Blood pressure monitor attachment assembly
A blood pressure monitor configured to removably mount to a cuff in a substantially symmetrical position with respect to a width of the cuff can include a housing defining an interior, a first port, and a second port. The first port can: secure to a first prong of the cuff when the cuff is mounted in a first orientation; receive and secure to a second prong of the cuff when the cuff is mounted in a second orientation; and enable fluid communication between the interior and at least one of a first fluid passage within the first prong and a second fluid passage within the second prong. The second port can: secure to the second prong of the cuff when the cuff is mounted in the first orientation; and receive and secure to the first prong of the cuff when the cuff is mounted in the second orientation.
