The housing at least partially encloses the dual sensor connector. A monitor connector is disposed proximate a second housing end. An analog board is disposed within the pod housing and is in communications with the dual sensor connector. A digital board is disposed within the pod housing in communications with the monitor connector.

A method and apparatus for surface scanning in medical imaging is provided. The surface scanning apparatus comprises an image source, a first optical fiber bundle comprising first optical fibers having proximal ends and distal ends, and a first optical coupler for coupling an image from the image source into the proximal ends of the first optical fibers, wherein the first optical coupler comprises a plurality of lens elements including a first lens element and a second lens element, each of the plurality of lens elements comprising a primary surface facing a distal end of the first optical coupler, and a secondary surface facing a proximal end of the first optical coupler.

A multifiber assembly and methods of using the same in an endoscopic procedure for transmitting illumination light to, and a response signal reflected from, a target is disclosed. An exemplary device comprises a proximal end, and distal end, and a transition section between the proximal and distal ends. The proximal end includes a first connector to be connected to a light source and a second connector configured to be connected to a spectrometer. The distal end includes a shaft including at least two first optical fibers to transmit light and at least one second optical fiber to transmit a spectroscopic signal. The transition section can couple the first connector to the at least two first optical fibers, and to couple the second connector to the at least one second optical fiber.

Pressure sensing guidewire systems including an optical connector cable

Medical devices including optical connector cable assemblies are disclosed. An optical connector cable assembly may include an optical connector cable having a first optical fiber extending therefrom. The optical connector cable may include a distal connector configured to connect to a guidewire. The distal connector may include an inner housing and a guidewire locking mechanism. The distal connector may also include an actuator. Actuation of the actuator may move the inner housing from a first position to a second position. When the inner housing is in the first position the guidewire locking mechanism is configured to secure the guidewire and the guidewire is rotatable with respect to the optical connector cable. When the inner housing is in the second position the guidewire locking mechanism is in an open state for receiving or removing the guidewire.

The system includes a detection device configured to be positioned external to the eye of the patient and optically coupled to the sensor, the detection device configured to detect an indication of change in length of the sealed cavity resulting from deflection of the flexible membrane.

The present invention provides an OCT catheter for the respiratory tract. An optical fiber connecting part is connected to an optical fiber, a guide wire assembly is sleeved outside the optical fiber connected to an optical fiber interface, an end of the guide wire assembly is sleeved inside the optical fiber interface connected to an optical fiber coupler, the optical fiber coupler is sleeved inside a connector sleeved inside a fixing head, an end of the fixing head is sleeved inside a sealing assembly, and the guide wire assembly sequentially passes through the connector, the fixing head and the sealing assembly. The OCT catheter is connected to the SC-type optical fiber interface through the SC-SC optical fiber coupler of a driving module. By adopting a guide wire with a small diameter, the medical OCT catheter can be applied to higher-generation bronchi, thereby expanding the application range.
