System For Preparing Teeth For The Placement Of Veneers
20240335253 · 2024-10-10 ·

A dental overlay device for the placement of one or more veneers in a mouth of a patient comprises a curved body. The curved body further includes a body surface and a plurality of holes. The body surface is complementary to and configured for contacting portions of one or more teeth in the mouth of a patient, including distal teeth on opposite sides of the patient's mouth, to secure the curved body in a suitable position on the patient's teeth. The plurality of holes extend through the curved body and correspond to locations on a plurality of teeth.

OSTEOTOME FOR DENTAL TREATMENT, HOLE FORMATION INSTRUMENT, TEST POST, STOPPER EXTENSION, PERIODONTAL LIGAMENT GUARD, WATER FLOW TUBE, AND MODEL FOR PRE-PROCEDURAL VERIFICATION OF DENTAL TREATMENT PLAN

An osteotome used as an instrument which is embedded from a surface layer of a treatment area in a jaw region of a patient into a deep portion to apply an impact in expanding or compressing a bone so as to displace a position of a mucosa behind the treatment area and includes a body portion corresponding to a main body portion of the osteotome and an end portion formed at a distal end of the body portion to displace the position of the mucosa. A diameter of the end portion has a size appropriate for transplant of an autogenous tooth.

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to systems, devices and methods for displaying, placing, fitting, sizing, selecting, aligning, moving a virtual implant on a physical anatomic structure of a patient and, optionally, modifying or changing the displaying, placing, fitting, sizing, selecting, aligning, moving, for example based on kinematic information.

DETERMINATION OF SURFACES AND VOLUMES WORTH PROTECTING IN ADDITIVE/SUBTRACTIVE MANUFACTURING JOBS WITH NEURAL NETWORKS
20240296264 · 2024-09-05 ·

A computer-implemented method for the automatic generation of component-describing data for use in a preparation of additive/subtractive manufacturing jobs for dental components such as splints, denture bases, models, restorations such as bridges and crowns, in which for each at least one component type a specialized pre-trained neural network is used for setting surface and/or volume attributes of the dental component, in which the surface and volume attributes describe the accuracy and quality requirements of construction elements of the dental components with regard to the intended use, in which the accuracy and quality requirements comprise at least one of the following: geometric dimensional accuracy, mechanical strength, surface texture color, and the avoidance of the attachment of support elements, in which the neural network has been pre-trained by means of dental components for which the surface and/or volume attribution has already been carried out.

TOOTH IMPLANT METHOD

An accurate and precise surgical guide for dental procedures, especially a procedure involving a subject with few or no teeth as well as methods for making and use of such guides.

SYSTEM FOR PREPARING TEETH FOR THE PLACEMENT OF VENEERS

Dental instrumentation for use in guiding a cutting tool to remove tooth structure from a working tooth is prepared. A digital model of cutting guide shell structure for placement around a portion of the tooth to be treated is combined with preset tool movements to be made by the cutting tool by one or more processors to define final cutting guide data corresponding to final cutting guide structure for guiding the cutting tool. A digital model of a fixation instrument configuration for fixing the dental instrumentation to an adjacent tooth to the working tooth is combined with the final cutting guide data by one or more processors to define final instrument configuration data corresponding to a final instrument configuration for releasably fixing the dental instrumentation to the adjacent tooth and for guiding the cutting tool in the removal of the tooth structure from the tooth to be treated.

Surgical Guide and Associated Process for Dental Implants
20180263727 · 2018-09-20 · ·

The present invention discloses a precise and practical surgical guide system and process for dental surgical implants. According to some aspects, the system implements a reference point throughout the design and procedure to provide one or more guides for a specific part of the procedure. In some embodiments, the digital and physical data utilized in the design and planning, and production of the guide system may be implemented in virtual reality and/or augmented reality systems.

IMPLANT PLACEMENT KEY

A guide-sleeve is couplable to an oral surgical guide at a fixed rotational orientation, height, and angle with respect to oral anatomy. An implant delivery device, couplable to a dental implant, drives the implant into tissue of the subject by rotation of the delivery device about its longitudinal axis until the delivery device lockingly engages the guide-sleeve. When the implant lockingly engages the guide-sleeve, the implant is disposed in the tissue at a fixed rotational orientation, depth, and angle with respect to the oral anatomy, and any further advancement and rotation of the dental implant with respect to the tissue is prevented. Other embodiments are also described.

In some aspects, dental drill guides can include a body defining an outer surface and an interior hole for receiving and positioning a dental drill; a first end of the body defining a tapered lead-in portion of the outer surface; a second end of the body opposite the first end defining at least one lip feature configured to be gripped by a handling tool; an outer circumferentially formed recess around the outer surface; and a seating feature extending from the outer surface.

Overdenture and Dental Implant Framework

A dental prosthesis and a process for design and manufacturing, incorporating an overdenture and a dental implant framework that will be designed and manufactured simultaneously.
