AN EXTRUSION DEVICE AND COMPOSITE DELIVERY SYSTEM
A new type of syringe for delivering composite material for direct application of the material in the mouth of a patient. The new type of syringe includes a threaded screw for driving a piston through the syringe in order to extrude the material from the end of the syringe. The extrusion force is thus generated in the syringe, thereby allowing for a simpler, less costly motorised driving system using a torque driving movement. The syringe also includes a localised heating arrangement at the extrusion end.

Cementing a dental restoration to a base
A dental restoration cementing device for cementing a dental restoration is disclosed having a closable axial passage to a base having a hollow interior which is open into an occlusal direction. The device includes a preferably elastic body portion dimensioned to tightly fit into the hollow interior of the base via the passage of the dental restoration. The device further includes a hollow cementing portion extending from the body portion. The cementing portion has a lateral opening which is located outside the base when the body portion is fitted into the hollow interior of the base such that a pathway is formed from the interior of the cementing portion through the lateral opening into a gap between the dental restoration and the base. The dental restoration cementing device allows for precisely, quickly and cost efficiently cementing the dental restoration to the base.

DENTAL-IMPRESSION-MATERIAL ELECTRIC DISPENSER
A dental-impression-material electric dispenser includes a main body having a longitudinal mounting portion formed therein. A top-open tray part includes, at the front end thereof, extrusion ports communicate with a mixing tip part communicate with each other. An impression material cartridge, having partitioned a first filling chamber and a second filling chamber, is mounted. The mixing tip part communicates with a pair of extrusion ports formed at the front end of the impression material cartridge, and stirs and discharges a silicone base and a curing agent, each being discharged in a fixed amount through the pair of extrusion ports. An extrusion rod part simultaneously presses a pair of pistons of the impression material cartridge mounted on the tray part through a pair of pressing ends. An electric extrusion part receives starting current from a battery cell and allows the extrusion rod part to advance forward through electrical driving.
DISPENSER ASSEMBLY
A dispenser assembly includes a rod, a plunger and a stopper. The rod has a plunger receiving end with a clip receiving recess. The plunger has a rod receiving structure with a rod engaging clip biased to fit to the clip receiving recess of the rod for movement therewith. The stopper has a plunger receiving space that defines an aperture extending through the plunger receiving space with the rod extending through the aperture. The plunger receiving space is dimensioned such that with the rod receiving structure of the plunger located within the plunger receiving space, movement of the rod engaging clip is restricted by contact with surfaces of the plunger receiving space preventing release of the rod from the plunger.
