SYRINGE WITH ENERGY DELIVERY COMPONENT AND METHOD OF USE
A syringe having an energy source disposed therein is disclosed. The syringe is capable of both the delivery and/or aspiration of materials as well as the delivery of an effective amount of various types of energy to a target to produce a desired result. A method utilizing the syringe to administer materials and to deliver energy to the material is also disclosed.
Dispensing control system
A dispensing control system includes a dispensing device and a remote device. The dispensing device includes a dispenser configured to dispense material from a cartridge disposed in the dispensing device, a first receiver configured to receive information related to the cartridge, a transmitter configured to transmit the information related to the cartridge, and an electronic controller configured to cause the transmitter of the dispensing device to transmit the information related to the cartridge. The remote device includes an electronic controller, a receiver and a transmitter, the receiver of the remote device is configured to receive the information related to the cartridge, the controller of the remote device is configured to monitor the information related to the cartridge and to cause the transmitter of the remote device to transmit the information related to the cartridge to a remote server.

Two-component system
A two-component system for the preparation of a hydrogel for preventing and/or treating a periodontal disease, selected from the group consisting of periimplantitis, gingivitis, periodontitis and peri-implant mucositis. The two-component system comprises as a first component an aqueous suspension having a pH value of less than 7 comprising a pH-sensitive gelling agent, and as a second component a sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) solution at a pH in the range of 10 to 13. The first component is physically separated from the second component.

TEMPERATURE-RESPONSIVE DEGRADABLE HYDROGELS
A polymer composition can include an aqueous vehicle and a temperature-responsive degradable polymer having a polymer including a LCST-imparting unit and a lactone-bearing unit including a pendent lactone group. The number of LCST-imparting units is greater than the number of lactone-bearing units. The temperature-responsive degradable polymer has an initial lower critical solution temperature (LCST) of 37 C. or below. The polymer composition can have a pH lower than 7.
System comprising a static mixer and a dispensing device for dental materials
A system which has a static mixer and which contains a dental material. The static mixer has a mixing barrel that extends along a longitudinal axis and, accommodated therein, a cascade of mixing elements. Mixing elements have an outer diameter D of between 1.5 mm and 1.6 mm. The barrel has an inner diameter corresponding to the outer diameter of the mixing elements. The system helps minimizing any residual dental material in the mixer and minimizing forces for extruding the dental material through the mixer.
