The present invention relates to a coupling structure between an abutment and a crown for an implant. To this end, the present invention relates to a coupling structure between an abutment and a crown for an implant, the structure having a lower part of an abutment facing and coupled to, by a bolt, the upper part of a fixture coupled to a tooth-extraction hole of the alveolar bone, and having a lower part of a crown inserted into and coupled to the upper part of the abutment, wherein the abutment has: a support stepped part formed along the edge at the lower part of an abutment body having a stepped hole; a crown supporting guide formed along the edge of the abutment body from the inner upper part of the support stepped part; and an inclined groove part formed at the upper part of the abutment body, and the crown has: an abutment insertion groove, of which the lower side is open, formed at a crown body; a hanging stepped part formed at the edge of an inlet side of the abutment insertion groove; a shock-absorbing layer provided on the inner surface of the abutment insertion groove; and an inclined protrusion part integrally formed at the bottom surface of the inner upper part of the abutment insertion groove. Therefore, the present invention can prevent shock from being transmitted to the abutment through the crown, thereby minimizing a feeling of unfamiliarity, and can reuse the implant since only the resin inserted into a contact part of the crown is separated and new resin is filled therein.

A dental implant includes an insertion portion which extends along an implant axis, and a coronal projection for receiving an abutment having a dental prosthesis formed thereon, which can be mounted on the dental implant with a screw. The insertion portion includes a coronal region and an apical region. The coronal projection extends from the coronal region of the insertion portion in the coronal direction and along a prosthesis axis. The coronal projection and the insertion portion are integrally connected in one piece. The prosthesis axis and the implant axis are inclined towards each other, and the abutment having the dental prosthesis formed thereon is attachable to the dental implant with only one screwing operation in the direction of the prosthesis axis.

Dental implant with improved trans-gingival emergence profile

A dental implant assembly comprises a base member and an abutment member. The base member is adapted for placement into an opening in a jawbone and comprises elongated vertically parallel side walls coupled with opposing curved end walls which together define an eccentrically shaped external surface and an eccentrically shaped internal cavity. The base member also includes an eccentrically shaped curved lip which couples top edge perimeters of the external surface and the internal cavity to one another. The abutment member is adapted for placement into the eccentrically shaped internal cavity of the base member. Responsive to placement of the abutment member in the eccentrically shaped internal cavity of the base member, a trans-gingival emergence profile is formed between the eccentrically shaped curved lip and a region of the lower portion between the eccentrically shaped curved lip and the shoulder.
