DENTAL IMPLANT DEVICE AND TECHNIQUE
A device for the replacement of missing bone and inadequate bone level, the device comprising: one or more implant blocks, shaped to fill in gaps in a jaw bone, the one or more implant blocks comprised of one or more layers characterized by a honeycomb-like structure, and one or more apertures separated by one or more raised crests; one or more screws; one or more tooth implants, the tooth implants shaped to fit in the one or more apertures of the one or more implant blocks, and having one or more internal holes in their base; one or more tooth abutments, the one or more tooth abutments including one or more members on a side complementary to the shape of the one or more internal holes of the one or more tooth implants, and a support structure; and one or more crowns, the one or more crowns shaped to fit over the support structure of the one or more tooth abutments.
DENTAL IMPLANT WITH A SACRIFICIAL CORONAL PORTION
A dental implant is described and includes a threaded coronal portion having a top hollow part with a cavity and an opening in a top portion of the hollow part, wherein the top hollow part is defined by sacrificial walls of the coronal portion, wherein a width of the cavity and the opening allows insertion of a cutting element of a dental saw into the cavity.
Fixation Base and Guides for Dental Prosthesis Installation
Apparatus and method for installing a multi-tooth dental prosthesis in one session are shown and described. A first tool attaches to the jawbone, and serves as a foundation for subsequently used guides. Existing teeth and dental fixtures are removed, and the bone tissue is removed to accommodate the prosthesis. Subsequently, a drill guide is used to drill implant holes. An abutment guide is then used to place abutments. Copings are then installed. Next, the prosthesis may be installed and cemented to the copings. A resinous filler material may be applied to fill gaps and holes in and between the copings and the prosthesis, and is sanded smooth. The first tool, the guides, and the prosthesis are predesigned and prefabricated based on images taken of the patient anatomy.
Dental implant incorporating an apatite
A dental implant comprises a composition which comprises a polymeric material which is preferably polyetheretherketone, and an apatite, for example a hydroxy-containing apatite. A prosthodontics device may comprise a dental implant made from polyetheretherketone, an abutment, also made from PEEK, and a crown, which is also made from PEEK by machining from a PEEK disc.
DENTAL IMPLANT DEVICE AND SYSTEM
A dental implant device and system, and in particular to a dental implant abutment that is personally configured and easily implemented by a practitioner. The dental implant device in the form of an abutment base featuring a body having a dual functioning single internal connection interface including a central channel and a seat the body featuring a distal portion comprising an anchor coupling interface; and a proximal portion comprising the dual functioning single internal connection interface wherein the seat is disposed adjacent to a proximal surface of the proximal portion.
Fixing pin support for dental prostheses and method of the manufacturing thereof
An improved fixing pin support for a dental prosthesis in order to be able to connect the dental prosthesis to a jaw by means of fixing pins which can each be moved through a guide bore in the fixing pin support. The improved fixing pin support has a guide sleeve separate from it which can be temporarily fitted over the fixing pin support so that the guide bore can be formed in the fixing pin support through a guide channel in the guide sleeve, by precise guidance of a drill. After this, the guide sleeve can be removed from the fixing pin support.
Trabecular porous tantalum dental implant and preparation method thereof
The present invention provides a trabecular porous tantalum dental implant and a preparation method thereof. The trabecular porous tantalum dental implant provided by the present invention has a cylindrical structure, and sequentially includes a top functional area, a middle functional area and a bottom functional area from top to bottom. The top functional area has a compact structure. The middle functional area has a porous bionic trabecular structure. The bottom functional area has a compact structure. The trabecular porous tantalum dental implant is integrally prepared through an additive manufacturing technology by using pure tantalum or medical tantalum alloy powder as a raw material. The trabecular porous tantalum dental implant provided by the present invention has a high friction force, strength and modulus close to those of human bones, an excellent bone ingrowth effect, high implantation stability and long service life.
ABUTMENT ARRANGEMENT
An abutment assembly (1) for connecting a dental restoration (6) to a dental implant (5), comprising a post body (2), a coupling sleeve (4) and a screw arrangement (3). The post body (2) has an apical aperture (21), an occlusal aperture (22) and an axial passage (23) extending between the apical aperture (21) and the occlusal aperture (22). The screw arrangement (3) has an occlusal head portion (311) and an apical fastening thread portion (321). The coupling sleeve (4) has an apical opening (41), an occlusal opening (42), an axial bore (43) extending between the apical aperture (21) and the occlusal aperture (22), and a clip structure (44) configured to elastically deform from a liaising position to an intermediate position. The axial bore (43) of the coupling sleeve (4) is equipped with a head socket section (431) configured to receive the occlusal head portion (311) of the screw arrangement (3). The coupling sleeve (4) is configured such that the clip structure (44) is locked in the liaising position when the occlusal head portion (311) of the screw arrangement (3) is received in the head socket section (431) of the axial bore (43) of the coupling sleeve (4).
DENTAL IMPLANT CROWN ABUTMENT WITH INDEXED MARGIN
A dental implant abutment comprising: a crown seating portion located toward a first end of the abutment; a fixture seating portion located toward a second end of the abutment; and a main body located between the crown seating portion and the fixture seating portion, the main body including an external indexing feature located along an outer perimeter of the main body at a transition between the main body and the crown seating portion, the external indexing feature comprising an elevational variance of the outer perimeter of the main body that mates with a visually identifiable elevational variance of a mating surface of a crown with which the dental implant abutment mates.
Channel formation for the fixing element of a dental superstructure and method of making the same
A dental superstructure defines a channel formation for the fixing element of a dental superstructure. The superstructure (1) is fixed to an implantation (3) integrated in the jaw bone by means of a fixing element (2). A channel (7) is formed in the superstructure (1). The axis line (8) of the channel (7) is shaped to follow an arc (9) whose radii pointing to given points of the axis line (8) diverge from the plane of the arc (9) by 0-5. The channel (7) is shaped in such a manner that the sections determined by the planes perpendicular to its axis line (8) are circles with the same diameter with their centers on the axis line (8). In the method according to the invention a computer controlled device is used for forming the channel.
