The present invention relates to a mounting element (10) for fixing removable tooth prostheses which are anchored by an implant, comprising a lower end (13) for fastening the mounting elements (10) having an implant (21) or abutment; and an upper end for connecting the mounting element having a tooth prosthesis, optionally a friction insert; characterised in that the main body of the mounting element (10) has an outer ring (11).

DENTAL PROSTHESES DEVICES AND METHODS
20170165037 · 2017-06-15 · ·

Root canal abutment devices and methods which facilitate the adjustment or removal of an oral appliance, e.g., a crown or bridge, from a reconfigurable abutment assembly are described. The adjustable abutment assembly may be secured within a pulp chamber of a pre-existing tooth. The abutment assembly has a projecting abutment portion with one or more shape memory alloy sleeves or plates or elements extending along the abutment. Each of the sleeves has a length with at least one curved or arcuate portion. Energy may be applied to the elements such that the arcuate portion flattens to allow for the oral appliance to be placed thereupon while removal of the energy allows the elements to reconfigure into its curved configuration thereby locking the oral appliance to the abutment. Removal of the oral appliance may be effected by reapplication of energy to the elements.

SPIKE-FIXING TYPE IMPLANT AND METHOD FOR IMPLANTING SAME

The present invention relates to a spike-fixing type implant and a method for implanting the same, the method enabling a dental root support to be inserted into the inside of an implant body in a state where the implant body, having a plurality of spikes protrusively formed thereon, is inserted in a dental root groove such that the diameter of the implant body is enlarged, and thus the spikes formed on the implant body are embedded in an alveolar bone and, finally, the implant body is firmly fixed in the dental root groove.

The present invention relates to a connection between a post part provided for being screwed into the jawbone and an associated superstructure part to which a dental prosthesis can be fastened. The connection between the post part and the superstructure part has a rotational self-centering action, wherein at least one of the surfaces provided for this purpose has a friction-minimizing modification and/or coating.

DENTAL IMPLANT FOR BONE COLLECTION AND DISTRIBUTION
20170071702 · 2017-03-16 ·

The present invention relates to endosseous implants and in particular, to screw form dental implants for implanting within bone. The bone implant is configured to be a self-drilling bone implant that is adept at condensing, collecting and distributing bone along all of the implant's surface and within the implantation site, to significantly increase the bone implant contact surface. The implant is configured to have a coronal portion and a body portion that are continuous with one another. The coronal portion is configured to have a smaller overall diameter than the overall diameter of said body portion. The body portion is fit with threading that facilitates the self-drilling and bone collection properties when the implant is rotates in both the clockwise and counterclockwise directions.

Dental implant

A multi-component dental implant system designed to improve oral hygiene. The dental implant system may comprise an implant body configured to be insertable into at least a portion of an individual's mouth, a primary or first abutment, a dental prosthesis engagement member, and a housing assembly. In use, the first abutment is designed to engage with and secure to the dental prosthesis engagement member. The housing is configured to secure to or cover the dental prosthesis engagement member. The dental implant system allows an individual to remove a prosthesis without the aid of any special tools or instruments.

Assembly for forming an interface part for dental implants with variable height

The present invention relates to an assembly for forming an interface part for dental implants with variable height. The assembly comprises a tubular interface part with a central axis and an auxiliary part which is coupled to the interface part. In a coupled position: the auxiliary part is integral with the interface part at least in a sense of direction parallel to the central axis; a final segment of the abutment protrudes through an upper end of the auxiliary part; and a peripheral surface outside the abutment comprises at least one planar face in a plane which intersects with the final segment of the abutment and the central axis. The planar face of the auxiliary part serves as a guide for cutting the abutment at a specific height.

Dental implant system

An implant comprising two internal anti-rotational features. One anti-rotational feature is adapted to engage a driving tool, while the other anti-rotational feature is adapted to engage an abutment. An implant abutment system is provided with an angled abutment adapted to mate with one of the anti-rotational features. A second, straight abutment is adapted to engage with the other anti-rotational feature. An abutment is provided with resilient fingers to interface with the implant and provide tactile and audible feedback indicating when the abutment is properly seated. An abutment screw extends through the abutment and engages the implant bore distal of the stem of the abutment. The abutment screw limits axial movement of the abutment relative to the implant. A driving tool comprising one of at least retention structure and visual alignment indicia is provided to facilitate screwing the implant into a patient's bone.
