DENTAL IMPLANT ASSEMBLY HAVING SEALING FEATURES AT COMPONENT INTERFACES
A dental implant assembly is disclosed. The dental implant assembly includes an implant having a bore within a coronal end, an abutment configured to couple to the implant to the coronal end, a screw configured to secure the abutment to the implant, and a gasket configured to seal an interface between the implant and the abutment.
ASSEMBLY FOR FORMING AN INTERFACE PART FOR DENTAL IMPLANTS WITH VARIABLE HEIGHT
A method involves an assembly for forming an interface part for dental implants with variable height. The assembly comprises a tubular interface part with a central axis and an auxiliary part which is coupled to the interface part. In a coupled position: the auxiliary part is integral with the interface part at least in a sense of direction parallel to the central axis; a final segment of the abutment protrudes through an upper end of the auxiliary part; and a peripheral surface outside the abutment comprises at least one planar face in a plane which intersects with the final segment of the abutment and the central axis. The planar face of the auxiliary part serves as a guide for cutting the abutment at a specific height.
DENTAL IMPLANT
A multi-component dental implant system designed to improve oral hygiene. The dental implant system may comprise an implant body configured to be insertable into at least a portion of an individual's mouth, a primary or first abutment, a dental prosthesis engagement member, and a housing assembly. In use, the first abutment is designed to engage with and secure to the dental prosthesis engagement member. The housing is configured to secure to or cover the dental prosthesis engagement member. The dental implant system allows an individual to remove a prosthesis without the aid of any special tools or instruments.
Gingiva healing abutment for a dental implant
A healing abutment configured to be provided in an implant prior to fitting a prosthetic tooth and comprising a leg and a head which are aligned along an axis Z and connected by means of a tensioning screw, the leg comprising a lower leg portion configured to cooperate with the implant, the head comprising a lower head portion configured to cooperate with an upper portion of the leg, the healing abutment comprising a reference member which defines a reference point and is configured to cooperate with the leg in order to define a plurality of basic reference point positions and is movably mounted relative to an upper portion of the head having a predetermined shape in order to allow the selection of at least one optimum basic position from the plurality of basic positions.
Dental implant and dental prosthesis
A dental implant having an implant body having on an outer side an external thread for fastening the dental implant to a jaw bone and having an opening extending along a longitudinal axis of the dental implant. The opening comprises an internal thread for fastening a superstructure to the dental implant. The implant body further includes an interface for fastening the superstructure to the dental implant, which interface is arranged at a front end of the implant body. The dental implant further has an anti-rotation element which is configured to prevent rotation of the superstructure around the longitudinal axis relative to the dental implant, wherein the anti-rotation element is configured as a component separate from the implant body, which is attached to the implant body in an area of the interface.
Dental implant with indexing surfaces having a friction-reducing coating
The present invention relates to a connection between a post part provided for being screwed into the jawbone and an associated superstructure part to which a dental prosthesis can be fastened. The connection between the post part and the superstructure part has a rotational self-centering action, wherein at least one of the surfaces provided for this purpose has a friction-minimizing modification and/or coating.
