Dental / Prosthetic Implant

Improvements in a dental/prosthetic implant are disclosed. The implant includes interior and exterior threaded surfaces. The use of both interior and exterior expanding threaded surfaces for integrations of the insert and a prosthetic with the same implant. The implant is immediately usable under load and promotes rapid integration with bone growth. The expanded insert essentially contacts the tapped bone surfaces where loads can be immediately applied so a person can utilize the prosthetic implant. The implant can further include security devices GPS, ID with medical records making removal of the implant difficult to extract. A cushioning member may be further integrated. The implant/abutment can include a surface with a plurality of contacts with sufficient gold contact points to attach residual nerve endings, during implanting surgery to provide nerve identification, send, receive, target to exploit proprioceptive memory or retraining.

Screw-attached pick-up dental coping system, methods and accessories

A temporary alignment system, methods, and accessories for holding a dental coping to an implant abutment using a separable fastener using the same threads in the implant abutment used for definitive attachment are disclosed. The disclosed temporary fasteners initially orient and hold a coping against an implant abutment with a force along the same axis as the semi-definitive screw. The aligned coping can be picked-up in a closed-tray impression process without unscrewing the temporary fastener. Embodiments include threaded posts that release copings from the implant abutment through axial forces. Some embodiments include a threaded post with separable cap that is picked-up with the coping. Methods and accessories for using the separable fastener assembly or portions of it during conversion of an existing prosthesis for screw attachment or fabrication and fitting of a new prosthesis are described.

Bendable prosthesis post and angular adjustment method

A bendable prosthetic abutment includes a guiding and anchoring segment, a connection zone, for connecting to an implant arranged on a gingival tissue for receiving a prosthetic abutment model, an intermediate restriction for angular orientation, a mounting and fastening portion forming an upper portion of the bondable prosthetic abutment for receiving a prosthesis, and a sacrificial and anchoring zone which has a diameter greater than a diameter of the connection zone so as to define a protuberant ring-shaped shoulder arranged between the intermediate restriction (4) and the connection zone (2) for connecting to an implant and anchoring in a cavity.

DENTAL TECHNOLOGY KIT
20190321141 · 2019-10-24 ·

A dental technology kit for coupling a dental prosthesis to a bone tissue includes at least one shell that defines a compartment that can be associated with a protruding head of a pin that can be anchored, directly or indirectly, to the bone tissue. The kit further includes at least one containment unit, which can be stably inserted into a complementarily-shaped recess that can be provided in the prosthesis, and an intermediate container defining internally a receptacle of shape at least partially complementary to the shell. The container is accommodatable in an at least partially complementarily-shaped chamber provided in the containment unit until a mating configuration is defined, in which at least one curved surface hump of the container, accommodated in the chamber, is arranged in contact with at least one complementarily-shaped curved surface region of the unit.

DENTAL IMPLANT

A dental implant includes a fixture, an abutment, and a male screw. The fixture includes a lower part, which includes a screw portion and is to be inserted into alveolar bone, an intermediate part which is to come into contact with gingiva, and an upper part which partially or entirely protrudes from the gingiva when the implant is implanted and is coupled with a dental prosthesis. Particularly, a polygonal protruding portion is provided at a top of the upper part of the fixture, which protrudes from the gingiva, and a polygonal insertion portion, into which the polygonal protruding portion is inserted, is formed at a bottom of the abutment coupled with the fixture.

Dental implant

A dental implant including an implant body having a top surface, and at least one non-annular cutaway portion longitudinally extending downwardly from the top surface along one side of the body and outwardly to the periphery, and a method for making the implant. The implant body preferably includes a body portion and a head portion integrally formed with the body portion, the body portion has a periphery and the head portion has a non-circular periphery, and the periphery of the head portion is smaller than the periphery of the body portion.

Abutment system and dental methods

The present application relates to an abutment system (12) and its use. The abutment system (12) comprises: a soft tissue level abutment part (10) adapted to be attached to a bone level dental implant (40) by means of an abutment screw (56), wherein the abutment system is adapted to selectively support both a cement-retained final restoration (66) and a screw-retained prosthetic component (68; 70). The present application also relates to dental methods.

ARRANGEMENT COMPRISING AN ABUTMENT POST AND AN APPURTENANT CAP, AS WELL AS A TOOL FOR APPLICATION OF THE CAP
20190307535 · 2019-10-10 ·

An arrangement for mounting to a dental implant and a tool for use therewith. The arrangement includes an abutment post connected to a conical cap. The abutment post has a conical section with a conical outer surface configured to be complementary to a conical inner surface of a conical recess of the conical cap in such a manner that the conical cap can be placed on the conical section so as to at least partially receive the conical section in its conical recess. The inner surface of the conical cap and the outer surface of the abutment post are inclined relative to one another in such a manner that the conical cap can be connected to the abutment post by friction locking between the inner surface and the outer surface. The conicity of the conical section differs from the conicity of the conical recess.

SUPERSTRUCTURE SUPPORT HAVING SPECIAL IMPLANT POST GEOMETRY

The invention relates to a superstructure support (20) as part of a prosthetic tooth replacement (1) between an implant body (10) and a superstructure, comprising a hollow implant post (23, 150, 160, 170, 180, 190), a hollow implant pin (50), and an implant flange (31) lying therebetween. The cavity zones (67, 62) of the implant post (23, 150, 160, 170, 180, 190) and of the implant pin (50) transition into each other. The center lines (69, 63) include an angle of 60 to 86 angular degrees. An attachment element (5) can be arranged on the implant post (23, 150, 160, 170, 180, 190) in a rotationally fixed manner by means of an assembly joint (140), which forms an interface (141, 145). The attachment element (5) is a cap-type element. At least some areas of the implant flange (31) have a supporting enveloping surface (37). The attachment element (5) has an interface geometry (146), which can be mounted on the interface geometry (142) of the superstructure support (20) in an interlocking and/or frictional manner at least in some areas. By means of the invention, a superstructure support (20) for the prosthetic tooth replacement is improved in such a way that the interface between the implant post (23, 150, 160, 170, 180, 190) and the attachment element (5) enables secure and simple joining and disconnecting of the interface components.
