Convex Interface for Dental Prosthetic Applications
An interface for a dental system enables precise clinical placement of the implant or the root post while allowing axial adjustment of the abutment interface for an optimal prosthetic interface requirement.
Inter dental implant
A multi-piece dental prosthesis system is provided. The system includes an implant which can be implanted into a bone of the patient, an abutment removably connected to the implant by a prosthetic screw, and a ti-base removably connected to the abutment. The system may be used to hold a crown, denture, or partial denture in place.
System and dental implant for reducing losses of dental implants or dental prostheses
The present invention relates to a dental implant and a replacement ring. The dental implant has an insertion portion for anchoring in a jaw bone. The replacement ring serves for replacing a subtractively removable annular material region in a coronal region of the insertion portion. The shape of the replacement ring is inscribable into the shape of the dental implant in the coronal region at least to some extent such that an inner lateral surface of the replacement ring lies within the shape of the dental implant.
Quantum Cement Assembly Tool
Tools, assemblies, devices, systems, and methods for easily mounting a crown to a titanium (Ti) base or custom abutment with a tool without having to pre-cement a mounting base to a crown and have to physically hold together the base to the crown until the cement is cured. The implant cementation assembly tool does allow the Ti base and crown to be cemented (pre-cemented) without being constantly held and done outside of the mouth. The embodiments can include a bottom (hard rod, such as plastic or metal) that goes through the Ti base and the crown. The embodiments can include a top that is either threaded to allow it to be screwed onto the hard rod or a top that has a hollow center that can slide over the hard rod and be clamped to the rod. A second embodiment uses a modified hemostat tool with lockable pivoting arms to clamp the crown to the Ti base to allow cement to become set
Dental scanning post and method for the mounting and fixing thereof on a dental implant or a replica of same
Dental scan abutment for being assembled and fixed to an implant, provided with an indicator of the radial angular position of the anti-rotation means of the implant. The abutment comprises: a main body provided with the indicator and with means for connection to the implant, and means for fixing to the implant formed by a fixing shaft and by an upper head, the lower end of the shaft being a threaded end provided with a thread cutting complementary to the internal cutting of the threaded hole of the implant. The main body is configured for housing and longitudinally displacing the fixing shaft therethrough, the threaded lower end of the shaft being able to be immersed in the interior of the main body or project from the lower section thereof, the complete removal of the fixing shaft by simple longitudinal displacement being prevented by mechanical stop.
DENTAL IMPLANT DEVICE AND SYSTEM
A device and a system for forming a releasable connection between a dental implant abutment and prosthetic restoration, and in particular to such a device and system that is configured for use in situations where the inter-occlusal space is very limited, the device having a female connection device having a hollow tubular body featuring an open lumen.
Fixation base and guides for dental prosthesis installation
Apparatus and method for installing a multi-tooth dental prosthesis in one session are shown and described. A first tool attaches to the jawbone, and serves as a foundation for subsequently used guides. Existing teeth and dental fixtures are removed, and the bone tissue is removed to accommodate the prosthesis. Subsequently, a drill guide is used to drill implant holes. An abutment guide is then used to place abutments. Copings are then installed. Next, the prosthesis may be installed and cemented to the copings. A resinous filler material may be applied to fill gaps and holes in and between the copings and the prosthesis, and is sanded smooth. The first tool, the guides, and the prosthesis are predesigned and prefabricated based on images taken of the patient anatomy.
Dental implant system having enhanced soft-tissue growth features
A dental implant system including an implant and an abutment is disclosed. The implant includes a generally cylindrical body, a central axis, a distal end for anchoring in a patient's bone and a proximal end opposing the distal end. The proximal end includes a roughened lateralized surface that surrounds an abutment-engaging region. The lateralized surface is disposed at a negative slope relative to the central axis. The abutment includes an upper portion for supporting a tooth-like prosthesis and a lower portion for engaging the abutment-engaging region of the dental implant. The diameter of the lower portion of the abutment is smaller than the diameter of the implant at its proximal end. The lower portion includes a first surface with a soft-tissue enhancing material. The first surface and the lateralized surface defining a circumferentially extending recess having a V-shaped cross-section for receiving and attachment to the soft tissue.
Screwless dental implant connection
A dental restoration system is disclosed. A dental restoration system includes an implant, retention component, dental component and driver tool. The retention component is sealable in a retention chamber of the implant. The retention component includes a driver section for interfacing with a driving head of the driver tool and a dental component engagement section with a threaded surface. The dental component includes a retention component interface surface with threads. The dental component engages the retention component via the threaded surface interlocking with the threads of the retention component interface surface when the dental component is inserted in the implant. The driver tool is used to rotate the retention component to engage the dental component apically. The retention component contacts the retention component wall and the dental component contacts an annular shoulder of the implant when the dental component is fully attached to the implant.
Fixed hybrid dental attachment assembly and methods of use
A fixed hybrid dental attachment assembly is provided. The fixed hybrid dental attachment assembly includes an abutment member, a male member, and a cap. The abutment member has an outer locating surface portion projecting downwardly from an upper end. The male member for attachment to the abutment member has an upper end for engagement within a cap in a recess in a dental appliance, and a continuous, unbroken skirt projecting from the upper end of the male member for engagement over the outer locating surface of the abutment member. The skirt may have a rounded, convex outer surface, and the male member may be constructed from a PEEK material.
