Dental implant
Disclosed herein is a dental implant (1) having a post part (2) which can be placed in a jaw bone and having a structural part (4) associated with said post part, to which structural part a denture piece can be attached, the structural part comprising an integrally molded contact pin (8) which can be placed in an associated shaped recess (10) in the post part (2) with a positive fit, it is to be possible on the one hand to suitably index the implant in a simple and reliable manner, on the other hand a particularly high level of mechanical stability against rotation being ensured, even with an overall height which is kept low.
Fixation base and guides for dental prosthesis installation
Apparatus and method for installing a multi-tooth dental prosthesis in one session are shown and described. A first tool attaches to the jawbone, and serves as a foundation for subsequently used guides. Existing teeth and dental fixtures are removed, and the bone tissue is removed to accommodate the prosthesis. Subsequently, a drill guide is used to drill implant holes. An abutment guide is then used to place abutments. Copings are then installed. Next, the prosthesis may be installed and cemented to the copings. A resinous filler material may be applied to fill gaps and holes in and between the copings and the prosthesis, and is sanded smooth.
DENTAL SOLID ABUTMENT
The present invention relates to a dental solid abutment integrally formed with a screw for being fixed to a fixture, and specifically, to a dental solid abutment in which a tool hole (a driver hole), to which a tool (a driver) used for being engaged to the fixture through a screw integrally formed on the abutment is engaged, is formed inside a post or a cuff below a functional part so as not to interfere with the functional part formed to add various functions to the post, so that a common driver can be used as it is while adding various functions to the post, and thus a production cost can be reduced and an implant treatment can be easily performed.
System and method for cementing parts into a screw retained implant crown
Tools, assemblies, devices, systems, and methods for easily mounting a crown to a titanium (Ti) base or custom abutment with a tool without having to pre-cement a mounting base to a crown and have to physically hold together the base to the crown until the cement is cured. The implant cementation assembly tool does allow the Ti base and crown to be cemented (pre-cemented) without being constantly held and done outside of the mouth. The embodiments can include a bottom (hard rod, such as plastic or metal) that goes through the Ti base and the crown. The embodiments can include a top that is either threaded to allow it to be screwed onto the hard rod or a top that has a hollow center that can slide over the hard rod and be clamped to the rod. A second embodiment uses a modified hemostat tool with lockable pivoting arms to clamp the crown to the Ti base to allow cement to become set.
DENTAL IMPLANTOLOGY USING SPHERICAL COMPONENTS
The present invention has the purpose of forming a new implantodontic system with spherical components, applied to implantology, particularly in fixed and mobile prostheses, aiming not to allow the accumulation of microorganisms that develop peri-implantitis and not compromising the osseointegration of the implant, produced in titanium metal and/or surgical stainless steel, which together form this new dental system with excellent locking and reduction in the retention of microorganisms, improving asepsis and making the development of infections extremely unlikely; consisting of implant (1) or spherical intermediates CM (10) or HE (14) or HI (17) and UCLA (8), bringing advantages of greater prosthesis angle from 0° to 45°, versatility, rigidity in the set, torque and resistance mechanics of the forces existing during chewing.
ASYMMETRIC ZYGOMATIC DENTAL IMPLANT WITH PARTIAL MICRO THREAD/GROOVE
A zygomatic dental implant includes a generally cylindrical body, an interior threaded bore, and an asymmetrical external feature. The generally cylindrical body has a coronal portion and an apical portion. The generally cylindrical body has a main-central axis. The interior threaded bore is formed in the coronal portion of the generally cylindrical body for receiving a screw configured to removably hold an abutment in engagement with the zygomatic dental implant. The interior threaded bore has a bore-central axis. The asymmetrical external feature is on at least a portion of a first side of the generally cylindrical body such that the asymmetrical external feature is configured to directly engage alveolar bone of the patient. The asymmetrical external feature includes a plurality of circumferentially extending grooves.
Inter Dental Implant
A multi-piece dental prosthesis system is provided. The system includes an implant which can be implanted into a bone of the patient, an abutment removably connected to the implant by a prosthetic screw, and a ti-base removably connected to the abutment. The system may be used to hold a crown, denture, or partial denture in place.
Screw-attached Pick-up Dental Coping System and Methods
A temporary alignment system and method for holding a dental coping to an implant abutment using the same threads in the abutment that are used for definitive attachment are disclosed. The disclosed temporary fasteners initially orient and hold a coping against an abutment with a force along the same axis as the semi-definitive screw. The aligned coping can be picked-up in a closed-tray impression process without unscrewing the temporary fastener. Embodiments include threaded posts that release copings from the abutment through axial forces. Some embodiments include a threaded post with separable cap that is picked-up with the coping. Methods for converting an existing prosthesis for screw attachment to implants in a single visit and digital capture of the converted prosthesis are described.
DENTAL IMPLANT SYSTEM HAVING ENHANCED SOFT-TISSUE GROWTH FEATURES
A dental implant system including an implant and an abutment is disclosed. The implant includes a generally cylindrical body, a central axis, a distal end for anchoring in a patient's bone and a proximal end opposing the distal end. The proximal end includes a roughened lateralized surface that surrounds an abutment-engaging region. The lateralized surface is disposed at a negative slope relative to the central axis. The abutment includes an upper portion for supporting a tooth-like prosthesis and a lower portion for engaging the abutment-engaging region of the dental implant. The diameter of the lower portion of the abutment is smaller than the diameter of the implant at its proximal end. The lower portion includes a first surface with a soft-tissue enhancing material. The first surface and the lateralized surface defining a circumferentially extending recess having a V-shaped cross-section for receiving and attachment to the soft tissue.
SCREWLESS DENTAL IMPLANT CONNECTION
A dental restoration system is disclosed. A dental restoration system includes an implant, retention component, dental component and driver tool. The retention component is seatable in a retention chamber of the implant. The retention component includes a driver section for interfacing with a driving head of the driver tool and a dental component engagement section with a threaded surface. The dental component includes a retention component interface surface with threads. The dental component engages the retention component via the threaded surface interlocking with the threads of the retention component interface surface when the dental component is inserted in the implant. The driver tool is used to rotate the retention component to engage the dental component apically. The retention component contacts the retention component wall and the dental component contacts an annular shoulder of the implant when the dental component is fully attached to the implant.
