MODELING AND MANUFACTURING OF DENTURES
A method for creating a digital model of a denture for a patient, where the denture includes a gingival part and artificial teeth, includes obtaining digital models of artificial teeth representing the artificial teeth; obtaining a 3D scan comprising a digital representation of at least part of the patient's existing gingiva; digitally modeling a gingival part of the digital model of the denture using the 3D scan and the digital artificial teeth; digitally determining a first offset defining a first thickness of a first portion of the gingival part of the digital model of the denture that extends from the digital representation of the at least part of the patient's existing gingiva; and digitally determining a second offset defining a second thickness of a second portion of the gingival part of the digital model of the denture that extends from the digital artificial teeth.
Dental prosthesis arrangement
A dental prosthesis arrangement includes a lower part assigned to a jaw implant and an upper part assigned to a superstructure. The lower part engages in the upper part along a central axis. The lower part is supported against the upper part at several contact faces. The lower part and the upper part are connected releasably to each other via a securing device which provides a retaining force against axial withdrawal of the upper part from the lower part. A first radially inwardly directed structure is provided on the lower part and a second radially outwardly directed structure is provided on the upper part for receiving a holding element that provides the retaining force. A fastener passing through the upper part and connected to the lower part can alternatively fix the upper part to the lower part.
Dental devices and related technology
The present disclosure is directed to denture devices and related technology. A device may include an overdenture including a substructure comprising at least one hinge. The device may further include a dental implant prosthesis configured to be attached to a jawbone and including at least one extensions configured for contacting the at least one hinge of the overdenture to secure the overdenture to the dental implant prosthesis.
Dental implant abumtment system and method of use
A dental anchoring system includes an angled abutment, having a main body extending from a top to a channel body, the channel body extending away from the main body at a predetermined angle less than 180 degrees; a lip extending around the top; and an opening extending from the top and through the channel body, the opening to receive an attachment device; the angled abutment is to provide an angled attachment for a dental prosthetic.
Method of manufacturing overdenture and flattening guide applied thereto for manufacturing the overdenture
Disclosed is a method of manufacturing a digital overdenture to improve manufacturing convenience and preciseness. The method of manufacturing the digital overdenture according to the present invention includes a series of operations such as generating a planning image, manufacturing auxiliary devices for manufacturing the overdenture such as a surgical guide, a flattening guide, an impression model, and the like, setting a holder device and correcting a temporary denture, obtaining a corrected-scanned image, and designing and manufacturing a digital overdenture.
BONE-MOUNTED DENTAL ARCH VENEERS AND METHODS FOR FABRICATING AND UTILIZING THE SAME
Bone-secured dental arch veneers and methods for fabricating and utilizing the same. The dental arch veneers include a veneer assembly having one or more tooth veneers and a support structure configured to support the tooth veneer(s). The dental arch veneers also include a coupling structure configured to interconnect the veneer assembly to a bone mount that is anchored along a user's maxilla or mandible. The coupling structure also is configured to permit the veneer assembly to be selectively and repeatedly interconnected with and disconnected from the bone mount. The methods include determining a target region within the user's mouth, obtaining a representation of the target region, manipulating the representation to create a desired arrangement of the user's teeth within the target region, determining anchoring positions proximate the target region for anchoring the bone mount, and forming the dental arch veneer based on the anchoring positions and the desired arrangement.
Dental prosthesis system
A flexible dental prosthesis system including: a longitudinally elongated flexible screw having a first end suitable for being fitted by means of threading in a dental implant and a second open end that can be inwardly deformed having a threaded hole on its inside and a projecting flange on its outside; a transmucosal post with a through hole suitable for inserting the flexible screw; and an upper connection element having a hole at one of its ends suitable for being coupled on the second end of the flexible screw by means of an inner recess in said hole corresponding with the projecting flange on the outside of the second end of the flexible screw.
IMPLANT ATTACHMENT SYSTEM
Mechanisms for securing an abutment, removable prosthesis, and/or a fixed prosthesis to an implant without screws or cement are provided. At least a portion of an abutment and/or a fixed prosthesis may be formed from a resilient material to enable the abutment and/or the fixed prosthesis to be secured to secured to the implant without screws or cement. Alternatively, a removable prosthesis may include a spring-loaded snap fastener for securing the removable prosthesis to an implant without screws or cement. The spring-loaded snap fastener may include a metal coil having at least three turns disposed in a same plane. The spring-loaded snap fastener may secure the removable prosthesis to the implant by at least gripping a groove disposed at least a partially around an interface between the removable prosthesis and the implant.
INTERMEDIATE ATTACHMENT PART
A substantially tubular intermediate attachment part with a first through-hole for attaching a screw-retained dental prosthetic component or a dental tool to a dental implant or to a dental implant analog, extending along a first longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end. Each end is provided with a set of longitudinal fins intended for snap-fitting into the dental prosthetic component or into the dental tool on the one hand and into the dental implant on the other hand.
