Bristled dental floss
10624724 · 2020-04-21 ·

A bristled dental floss is provided for effectively removing plaque, tartar, food particles and the like from between a user's teeth. The bristled dental floss includes an elongated, flexible floss core. A plurality of floss bristles extends from the floss core. At least one elongated bristle group is formed by the plurality of floss bristles. An undulating pattern is formed by the plurality of floss bristles in each bristle group. In typical use, the bristled dental floss may be inserted between the teeth of a user and moved in a back-and-forth motion. The bristle groups effectively remove plaque, tartar, food particles and the like from between the user's teeth, particularly in hard-to-reach recessed areas between the teeth.

Dental flossing device
10517703 · 2019-12-31 · ·

A dental flossing device is made of an elastic material. Its central structure is a resiliently stretchable elastic, bridge strip with a cross section having different shapes. When stretched, the strip has a changeable diameter to help remove debris between teeth. The strip includes corrugations or spirals along its length and may include different drugs or flavors to give the user a medicine or a taste while cleaning the teeth. At each end of the strip, there is an elastic opposing handle. Handles may be bridged by two or more stretchable strips. The two handles may have different dimensions and thicknesses, as well as different profiles; they may be resiliently stretchable so as to serve themselves as additional flossing members. The device may comprise more than two handles and more than one flossing strip and thus may form various configurations such as ring-like, chain-like, star-like, etc. A method for making the dental flossing device out of the elastic material includes molding the elastic, bridge strip and integrally molding the elastic opposing handles at opposite ends of the strip.

INTERDENTAL CLEANING SHEET AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
20240058107 · 2024-02-22 ·

An interdental cleaning device embodying a micro-textured floss sheet having a leading edge for flossing laterally and less avulsively in a downward direction. The body of the floss sheet has an elongated cross-section where the cross-sectional height is at least ten to fifty or more times the cross-sectional width. The floss sheet is composed of material that does not buckle under compression when urged between two adjacent teeth and still has sufficient flexible for the floss sheet to bend along the interproximal/interdental tooth surfaces.

Flossing Device with Spring-Type Head
20190358005 · 2019-11-28 ·

A Flossing Device with Spring-Type Head is a device used to floss the teeth. A handle with a storage chamber in which the coiled floss thread is stored, is fixedly attached to a Spring-Type Head that includes a substantially U-shape flexible arm and two substantially cylindrical shape fixtures. Each piece of the floss thread is placed and secured between the said fixtures. Due to the flexibility of the said arm, a constant suitable tension of the floss thread is maintained at all times. Using the device, while flossing becomes possible with one hand, it gives the user a much more effective and easier flossing experience.

RIDGED DENTAL FLOSS
20240173111 · 2024-05-30 ·

A ridged dental floss that includes a flexible dental floss string of a polymeric material that includes multiple sections of ridges, wherein a first section includes a tightly spaced series of spherical ridges each of an elastic polymeric material and directly coupled to opposing sides of the dental floss string to define a diameter and a second section adjacent to the first section includes a tightly spaced series of spherical ridges each of an elastic polymeric material and directly coupled to opposing sides of the dental floss string to define a diameter, wherein the diameters of each of the tightly spaced series of spherical ridges in the second section are greater than the diameters of each of the tightly spaced series of spherical ridges in the first section.

DENTAL FLOSSER

In one embodiment, a dental flosser includes a handle and a housing coupled to the handle. The housing includes a chamber for rotatably receiving a spool having first top and bottom surfaces and a side surface and having a supply of floss wound about the side surface, the supply of floss having second top and bottom surfaces. The housing further includes a floss orifice for directing at least a portion of the supply of floss therethrough. The dental flosser also includes an actuator including at least one contact surface configured to frictionally engage at least one of the first top surface, the first bottom surface, the second top surface, or the second bottom surface. The actuator further includes a biasing member for biasing the at least one contact surface relative to the spool.

Groovy Dental Floss
