In some embodiments, compartments and cartridges with a proprietary form factor for delivering dentifrice and other treatments and for disposing of waste without mess are provided. In some embodiments, data are gathered, analyzed and serve as the basis for a treatment plan, which may then be carried out by the system(s), device(s) and method(s), over time.

Dental cleaning device

A dental cleaning device for simultaneously brushing at a plurality of dental positions. The dental cleaning device includes: a mouthpiece having a pressure chamber for containing a fluid under pressure; a pump unit arranged in fluid communication with said pressure chamber and configured to reciprocatingly increase and decrease a pressure in the pressure chamber; a pressure sensor configured to measure a pressure in the pressure chamber and to produce a pressure signal; and a controller configured to generate a control signal. The controller is configured to generate the control signal in dependence on the pressure signal and the pump unit is configured to provide a delivery into and/or out of the pressure chamber in response to the control signal. The controller is configured to reduce the delivery of the pump unit when the pressure in the pressure chamber exceeds a predetermined upper threshold.

Methods of designing and fabricating customized dental care for particular users

The various embodiments described herein include methods, devices, and systems for customizing dental care. In one aspect, personalized toothbrush devices are 3-D printed for a plurality of users. A 3-D dental model of a respective user's mouth is obtained, and a configuration for a mouthpiece of a respective personalized toothbrush device is determined. Each personalized toothbrush device is 3-D printed for each respective user of the plurality of users, and is different from every other user's personalized toothbrush device.

Methods of designing and fabricating customized dental care for particular users

The various embodiments described herein include methods, devices, and systems for customizing dental care. In one aspect, a personalized dental care device includes a first customized mouthpiece including a top cleaning tray and a bottom cleaning tray, each customized based at least in part on an electronic 3-D dental model of a respective user's mouth. The personalized dental care device includes one or more power mechanisms, configured to couple with the first customized mouthpiece, and to transmit energy to at least one cleaning tray of the first customized mouthpiece. The personalized dental care device is configured to be operated in a plurality of modes. Each respective mode of the plurality of modes is associated with a different method for providing oral care.

Mouthpiece for a dental cleaning system and the dental cleaning system

The invention provides a mouthpiece for dental cleaning system and the dental cleaning system itself. The mouthpiece has a base and inner and outer arches. An actuator is for applying motion to the inner arch and/or the outer arch, relative to the base. A coupling arrangement converts motion of one of the inner and outer arches in one direction relative to the base to motion in an opposite direction relative to the base of the other of the inner and outer arches. By forming the mouthpiece as a central stationary base enveloped by two contour-following and moving arches, an anti-phase brushing motion at opposite tooth sites along the tooth arch is enabled, giving increased reach toward the molars as well as a reduction in device vibration in the mouth.

The present invention describes a method for a U-shaped teeth brush device having a conformable shape adjusting U-shaped teethbrush module and one or more individual tooth brushes coupled to the power drive mechanism, each brush having a sensor, piezoelectric crystal and transducer and each tooth brush having a block anchor coupled to the power drive, under smart controls, an electronic control system for sensing individual tooth pressure and controlling motor transmission of vibration to prior positioned brushes, whereby a users unique mouth features can be accounted for by adjusting U-shape distal ends to fit through the users mouth and align with users teeth arch for programmatically brushing more than one tooth simultaneously.

PERSONAL CARE DEVICE

Proposed are schemes, solutions, concepts, designs, methods and systems pertaining to aiding and/or improving a vibratory personal care device having cleaning elements that are adapted, in use, to vibrate. Embodiments proposed that, based on a loading force applied to the cleaning elements during use, the vibration of the cleaning elements may be controlled. That is, the vibration of the personal care device may be adapted based on a pressure applied to cleaning elements (by engagement with a tissue surface of the user).
