FORCE-CONTROLLED CLAMPING MECHANISMS FOR ORAL CARE DEVICES

The present disclosure relates to oral care devices and force-controlled mechanisms used in such oral care devices. For example, the oral care devices of the present disclosure may be a full or partial mouthpiece, or a multi-surface brush head, and can include one or more brushing blocks having a constant-force spring assembly. Each of these brushing blocks may include one or more sets of cleaning elements that contact the portions of the subject's mouth (e.g., teeth, gums, etc.) and provide mechanical cleaning functionality when the device is moved.

Dental Cleaning Device

A mouthpiece including a body having a recess delimited by a flexible recess wall, the recess configured for encompassing a plurality of dental positions. The body is provided with a pressure chamber for containing a fluid under pressure. The recess wall is configured to deform by reciprocatingly increasing and decreasing a pressure in the pressure chamber between a decreased pressure condition and an increased pressure condition. The recess wall has a local deformability such that, when reciprocatingly increasing and decreasing the pressure in the pressure chamber, a shape of the recess wall locally changes. In the increased pressure condition, the shape of the recess wall is locally adjusted to the local shape of the dental positions encompassed by the recess wall. In the decreased pressure condition, the shape of the recess wall is locally less adjusted to the local shape of the dental positions encompassed by the recess wall.

ORAL HEALTH CARE

An oral cleaning arrangement for an oral care device permitting pivoting of a cleaning element unit having at least two groups of cleaning elements defining different respective spatial/geometric arrangements/patterns, such that both groups of cleaning elements may be angled in such a way that they can be applied simultaneously to a tooth surface to be cleaned.

AUTOMATED ORAL HYGIENE DEVICE
20260007506 · 2026-01-08 ·

An automated oral hygiene device includes a mouthpiece which is U-shaped to surround either an upper row of a user's teeth or a lower row of the user's teeth when the mouthpiece is positioned in the user's mouth. A water recirculation unit is integrated into the mouthpiece to recirculate water through the mouthpiece and subsequently rinse the user's mouth when the mouthpiece is positioned in the user's mouth. A plurality of brushing units is each movably integrated into the mouthpiece to abut respective ones of the upper row of the user's teeth or respective ones of the lower row of the user's teeth depending upon the positioning of the mouthpiece in the user's mouth. Each of the plurality of brushing units moves back and forth to brush the respective ones of the upper row of the user's teeth or the respective ones of the lower row of the user's teeth.

ORAL CARE DEVICE
20260013625 · 2026-01-15 ·

A mouthpiece device for oral cleaning with a dedicated mechanical structure (termed an anchoring member) for providing a support onto which the user can hold fast their jaw in order to anchor the non-moving part of the mouthpiece to the reference frame of the jaw, such that the moving part of the mouthpiece (which carries cleaning elements) moves in an approximately predictable way relative to the upper and lower rows of teeth. The anchoring member is supported mechanically in such a way that it is moveable relative to the part of the mouthpiece which carries the cleaning elements in a transverse direction (that is, in a direction approximately parallel with the plane of the mouthpiece), so as to permit, in use, the mouthpiece portion to be moved sideways in the mouth to reach all teeth.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERSONALIZED ORAL CARE

An oral insert includes a plurality of fluid nozzles, a plurality of manifolds, and an attachment mechanism configured to be releasably attach with a handle. Each of the manifolds is associated with a corresponding subset of the plurality of fluid nozzles. The attachment mechanism includes a manifold connector having a plurality of manifold openings arranged in a circle. Each of the plurality of manifold openings is associated with one of plurality of manifolds.

DENTAL CLEANING DEVICE

Dental cleaning device comprising a handle, a mouthpiece connected or connectable to said handle, a set of brush heads carried by the mouthpiece and configured for cleaning, during a use condition of said dental cleaning device, the user's teeth. The set of brush heads includes a front module configured to clean at least the user's incisor teeth, said front module being movable by a first motion, said first motion including a translation motion or a rotational motion around a front module axis external to said front module or a roto-translation motion. The set of brush heads also includes at least a couple of back modules configured to clean at least the user's molar teeth, each of said back modules being movable by a respective second motion including a rotational motion around a respective back module rotation axis passing through the respective back module.

ULTRASOUND SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CLEANING AND/OR REGENERATING ONE OR MORE STRUCTURES INSIDE AN ORAL CAVITY
20260041534 · 2026-02-12 ·

Disclosed herein is an ultrasound system and method for cleaning and/or regenerating one or more structures within an oral cavity. The ultrasound system includes a bite guard for insertion and positioning in an oral cavity. The bite guard includes one or more ultrasound transducers for applying a selected ultrasound signal to one or more structures within an oral cavity to clean and/or regenerate the one or more structures within the oral cavity.

POWERED DENTAL CLEANING DEVICE

Powered toothbrush systems that provide improved bristle posi-tioning and bristle contact with tooth surfaces that reduce the time and effort re-quired for effective brushing. Some embodiments use alternating or oscillating pneumatic pressure and suction to move a toothbrush head. Various configuration of the brush head provide different areas of coverage ranging from individual tooth to quarter mouth (U-cross section), to half (U-cross section or H-cross section) or whole mouth (U-cross section or H-cross section) coverage. Some embodiments include flexible fingers and/or bladders to keep the bristle tips properly engaged with the teeth and gums, providing bristle contact over a wide variety of malocclusion. The shape of the brush heads adapts to conform closely to the shape of the user's dental tray and to any malocclusion that may be present. The powered toothbrush automatically generates motion of the brush head that simulates the Modified Bass Method of brushing.

AUTOMATIC ORAL CARE DEVICE

An oral care device can include a mouthpiece configured for at least partial insertion into a mouth of a user. The mouthpiece can include an arcuate shape to cover a tooth of the user. The mouthpiece can include oral engagement members removably installed into the mouthpiece and configured to contact oral surfaces. A sensor can be integrated within the mouthpiece. The sensor can be configured to detect an operational characteristic of the mouthpiece during use by the user. A base can be configured to receive the mouthpiece and charge and clean the mouthpiece upon connection with the mouthpiece. A control system can be configured to control the operation of the oral care device based on at least one operational characteristic of the mouthpiece.
