A gauge for a hybrid pressure and flowgauge regulator includes first indicia and second indicia. The first indicia provides an indication of a flow rate of a gas exiting an outlet of the hybrid pressure and flowgauge regulator when the gas exits with a pressure below a gauge threshold pressure. The second indicia provides an indication of the pressure of the gas exiting the outlet of the hybrid pressure and flowgauge regulator when the pressure of the gas exiting the outlet is above the gauge threshold pressure.

Method and apparatus for controlling the flow rate of fluid discharge

A method and apparatus for use in controlling a dispensing rate of medication or other substance via a syringe, including, without limitation, into a patient, intravenous line port or heparin lock. A fluid flow rate control apparatus has a housing defining an inner chamber with an inlet port and an outlet port. Sealing seats are formed at or near both the inlet and outlet ports, and a moveable sealing element, such as a ball, can move within the inner chamber between the sealing seats. A spring biases the ball toward the inlet port sealing seat.

PRESSURE REGULATOR VALVE ASSEMBLY FOR QUICK DISCONNECT FITTINGS

A quick disconnect fitting includes a plug and a socket to receive the plug. The plug includes a fluid channel, an inlet to the fluid channel, and a pressure regulating valve assembly. The valve can include a poppet, and a valve nozzle comprising an orifice. The valve assembly resides in the fluid channel. The socket includes a socket stem to contact the valve assembly and push the valve assembly into the fluid channel of the plug upon the socket receiving the plug.

Externally adjustable flow management valve assembly and system

Disclosed is a system and valve assembly that can be used to promote the laminar flow of a variety of fluids and gases. In one embodiment, the valve assembly can be used to remove entrained water bubbles from a water supply. This, in turn, increases the density of water running through an associated water meter. This ensures that the water meter is not inaccurately including entrained air as metered water. The result is more accurate water readings and reduced utility bills. The assembly can be externally adjusted using an adjustment tool so as to increase or decrease the tension on an interior spring which, in turn, increases or decreases the rate at which the interior block oscillates.

FLOW REGULATING VALVE AND COMPRESSOR

A flow regulating valve and a compressor with the flow regulating valve are disclosed. The flow regulating valve includes: a valve seat in which a passage is formed to allow fluid to enter; a guide member protruded outwards from the valve seat; a piston which is disposed on the outside of the valve seat, forms a fluid inlet with the valve seat, and is capable of being reciprocated along the guide member; and a biasing member biasing the piston in a direction away from the valve seat. A force exerted by the incoming fluid on the piston is opposite in direction to a biasing force exerted by the biasing member on the piston. The piston is able to be moved to different positions under the action of different forces to form fluid inlets of different widths with the valve seat, thereby controlling the mass flow rate of the incoming fluid (especially liquid). With the technical solutions of the present invention, the flow rate of the fluid entering the compressor can be effectively adjusted with a simple structure and low cost.

Bypass flow regulator

A bypass flow regulator for a vacuum waste system (VWS) is disclosed. The bypass flow regulator includes a valve assembly installable in an aircraft vent line leading outside the aircraft from an onboard VWS waste tank. The vent line directs an airstream pumped from the waste tank to an external outlet under suction (from which outlet the airstream is ejected from the aircraft). The valve assembly includes a group of valves (e.g., umbrella valves) set into the path of the airstream. The valves may collectively modulate the flow rate of the airstream by adjusting their effective flow area.
