Pressure controller
A pressure controller for use in operating parallel reactors, the pressure controller including a reference pressure controller, the reference pressure controller including: a first restrictor channel, a second restrictor channel, a fluid passage, which fluid passage extends between the outlet of the first restrictor channel and the inlet of the second restrictor channel, a pressure control fluid source being adapted to provide a flow of pressure control fluid, having an entrance pressure at the inlet of the first restrictor channel and an exit pressure at the outlet of the second restrictor channel, the flow of pressure control fluid experiencing a first pressure drop 1 over the first restrictor channel and a second pressure drop 2 over the second restrictor channel, a connector connecting the fluid passage to the control chamber, the pressure control fluid at the connector having an intermediate pressure, the intermediate pressure being determined by the ratio between the first pressure drop 1 and the second pressure drop 2, a controllable thermal device, the thermal device being adapted to heat and/or cool the first restrictor channel and/or the second restrictor channel, therewith influencing the ratio between the first pressure drop 1 and the second pressure drop 2.
PINCH FLOW REGULATOR
A valve for regulating fluid flow includes a housing base defining a lower cavity and comprising a pinch structure within the lower cavity, a gas inlet providing external access to the lower cavity, a base fluid inlet, and a base fluid outlet. A housing cover defines an upper cavity and comprises a cover fluid inlet and a cover fluid outlet. The cover fluid inlet is in fluidic communication with the base fluid outlet between the upper cavity and the lower cavity, and the cover fluid outlet provides external access from the upper cavity. A diaphragm is disposed between the housing base and the housing cover. A pinch plate is disposed in the lower cavity and comprises a pinch point disposed opposite the pinch structure. A pinch tube is in fluidic communication between the base fluid inlet and the base fluid outlet in the lower cavity.
Control valve
A control valve includes a poppet valve moving in an axial direction relative to a seat hole so as to change a flow-path cross-sectional area of the seat hole and a spring disc biasing the poppet valve in a valve opening direction against the return spring. The spring disc includes: a secondary-pressure receiving surface being a portion moving along with a movement of the poppet valve, the secondary-pressure receiving surface configured to receive secondary pressure introduced to the secondary port; and a pilot-pressure receiving surface configured to receive pilot pressure serving as a reference pressure. The spring disc deforms elastically in accordance with pressure difference between the secondary pressure and the pilot pressure to cause the poppet valve to move in the axial direction.
Pilot control unit, valve arrangement, and method for the regulated provision of a fluid
A valve arrangement for regulated provision of a fluid relies upon a pilot control unit. The pilot control unit includes at least one electrically controlled pilot control valve and one regulating unit coupled to the pilot control unit. The regulating unit is designed for the adaptive, parameter-based regulation of the at least one pilot control valve. The regulation is based on a combined parameter which describes an opening point of the at least one pilot control valve. A determination of the combined parameter is made based on a static component and a dynamic component.
Control Assembly for a Valve
A control assembly for a valve includes a stem displaceable relative to a body portion of the valve from a closed position in which a valve portion of the stem portion engages a valve seat portion to an open position in which the valve portion is offset from the valve seat portion. A portion of the stem portion is movably disposed within the flow orifice. The control assembly further includes a connector portion, and a connector bore is formed in a bottom surface of the connector portion. A first end of the stem portion is disposed within the connecter bore of the connector portion.
