A valve controls the discharge of fluid stored under pressure in cylinders (4) and includes a body (2) with a fluid inlet hole (3), a fluid outlet hole (5), and a sealing shaft (6) whose movement, determined by release means (7), opens or closes the fluid passage The release means (7) includes at least one pneumatic actuation hole (11) with non-return valve (12) and a hermetic chamber (10) associated with said sealing shaft (6), a pressure cartridge (8) of compressed gas associated with an electric and manual actuator (9) external to the body (2) and the hermetic chamber (10), which, transmits the motion to a rod (15) linked to said sealing shaft (6). A spring (16) tends to keep the sealing shaft (6) closed, when the pressure is zero or when the cylinder (4) is empty.

Multi-function pressure regulation valve

A flow control device includes a housing with an inlet and an outlet and a flow conduit disposed in the housing. The inlet, the flow conduit, and the outlet define a flow passage. A valve seat is disposed in the housing downstream of the inlet, and a shuttle is movably disposed in the housing and displaceable between a closed position engaging the valve seat to close the flow passage and an open position spaced from the valve seat to open the flow passage. A sealed chamber is defined between the housing and the flow conduit. A port coupled with a source of pressurized fluid communicates with the sealed chamber, where the shuttle is displaceable between the closed position and the open position based on a pressure in the sealed chamber. The threshold water pressure for displacing the flow conduit may be adjustable by modifying the pressure in the sealed chamber.

Pressure actuated switching valve

A pressure actuated switching valve includes a first valve chamber including a first chamber portion. The first chamber portion has a first inner diameter, a second chamber portion having a second inner diameter that is greater than the first inner diameter, a third chamber portion having a third inner diameter that is greater than the first inner diameter, a fourth chamber portion having a fourth inner diameter that is greater than first inner diameter, and a valve member. The valve member includes a first section having a first outer diameter that is greater than the first inner diameter. A second section of the valve member has a second outer diameter that is closely matched to the third inner diameter. A third section of the valve member is arranged has a third outer diameter that is greater than the first outer diameter.

Pressure Control Valve

A pressure control valve (1) includes a pressure port (P), a consumer port (A), a tank port (T), and a piston (K) which is displaceable counter to the force of a first spring (F1) and a second spring (F2). The springs (F1, F2) and area ratios of the pressure control valve (1) are designed such that the pressure port (P), in the non-pressurized condition, is connected to the consumer port (A) via an opening cross-section of the pressure control valve (1). An opening cross-section between the pressure port (P) and the consumer port (A) decreases depending on the pressure at the consumer port (A), and, upon attainment of a limiting pressure at the consumer port (A), the consumer port (A) is connected to the tank port (T). A related hydraulic system (HY) and a related motor vehicle transmission (G) are also provided.

A pressure regulator has a pressure chamber connected to an inlet flow area which receives liquid flow. As liquid flows into a forward chamber of the pressure chamber, pressure is exerted on the forward face of the piston, which in turn causes the piston to slide longitudinally through the pressure chamber. A bypass fluidically connects the forward pressure chamber and rear pressure chamber such that as the piston slides into the rear pressure chamber pressure increases at the rear pressure chamber, which in turn forces the piston to move forwardly, thus regulating flow out of the pressure chamber. A hand wheel is configured to turn a movable plate located inside the pressure chamber, with the movable plate configured to impede the piston from moving rearwardly. Pressure sensors and vents with a pressurized air source may be used to keep the pressure within a desired range.
