According to various embodiments, disclosed is an electronic device comprising: a first housing, a second housing, a hinge structure comprising a hinge, at least one display, a sensing circuit, and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to: control the display to display, on a first display area, a first execution screen according to execution of a first application; monitor whether an event related to a second application has occurred, while the first execution screen is displayed on the first display area; and control the display to display, in response to at least one of a folding operation sensed through the sensing circuit based on occurrence of the event or a rotating operation of the electronic device, identified from a physical movement based on occurrence of the event, a second execution screen related to the event on the second display area while the first application is being executed.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR PROVIDING VARIOUS USER INTERFACES THROUGH PLURALITY OF DISPLAYS, AND METHOD THEREFOR
An electronic device having a first housing and a second housing connected by a hinge unit. The electronic device also having a first display and a second display, and a first sensor configured to detect a folding angle formed by the first housing and the second housing. The electronic device also having a processor configured to acquire information on the folding angle through the first sensor. Based on a determination that the folding angle is less than a first angle, provide a user interface according to an activation mode or an inactivation mode of the second display. Based on a determination that the folding angle is at least the first angle and less than a second angle, provide the user interface according to at least one of the activation mode of the second display or an activation mode of the first display.
COMPUTING DEVICES WITH DISPLAY MODE CONTROL UNITS
A portable computing device may comprise an internal central processing unit (CPU), an internal graphics processing unit (GPU), a communications port to communicate with an external computing device, a first electronic display connected to the internal GPU, a second electronic display connected to the internal GPU, a touch input device to receive touch inputs from a user, and a display mode control unit. The control unit may cause the portable computing device to selectively operate in a dual display operational mode, a direct input operational mode, and an indirect input operational mode.
MULTI-DISPLAY DEVICE
A multi-display device includes a plurality of displays that are connected through a network to enable the plurality of displays to communicate with each other. In the multi-display device, the respective displays decode the same video content item transmitted to the respective displays, identify respective desired areas based on arrangements of the respective displays in the multi-display device, and display respective images located in the identified areas in the same timing.
User Interface for Remote Management of Device
Method of providing a user interface in a display device for remote management of grouped plurality of devices. The method includes: receiving a first selection for selecting one group of a plurality of groups of devices; receiving a second selection for selecting one item of a plurality of items related to each of the plurality of groups; displaying a management screen for the selected item related to the selected group in response to a selection of the group while keeping the item selected before the selection of the group, the management screen being used for management of the selected item related to the selected group; and displaying the management screen for the selected item related to the selected group in response to a selection of the item while keeping the group selected before the selection of the item.
Methods and apparatus for mesh networking using wireless devices
A wireless peripheral mode is provided by a host system that communicates to a WiFi infrastructure and, utilizing the same WiFi RF subsystem, also communicates to peripherals. The host system may employ additional RF channels for communicating with high bandwidth peripherals, such as display devices, where high levels of QoS may be managed locally. The host system may be a conventional desktop computer system, a notebook computer system, a multi-media access point, a cell phone, a game machine, a portable game machine, a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), a smart phone or any other type of device that benefits from accessing both a WiFi infrastructure and local peripherals.
Transparent electronic device
A method and system for displaying images on a transparent display of an electronic device. The display may include one or more display screens as well as a flexible circuit for connecting the display screens with internal circuitry of the electronic device. Furthermore, the display screens may allow for overlaying of images over real world viewable objects, as well as a visible window to be present on an otherwise opaque display screen. Additionally, the display may include active and passive display screens that may be utilized based on images to be displayed.
Dual screen display apparatus, dual screen display method, and electronic device
A dual screen display device, dual screen display method, and electronic equipment are described. The device includes a first display unit and a second display unit, a light receiving surface of the first display unit being arranged opposite to a light receiving surface of the second display unit; a backlight module unit, arranged between the light receiving surface of the first display unit and the light receiving surface of the second display unit; a light source unit, used for emitting illumination light to the backlight module unit; and a first polarization filtering unit and a second polarization filtering unit, arranged on the light receiving surface of the first display unit and the light receiving surface of the second display unit respectively.
FOLDABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING SCREEN ROTATION, AND OPERATING METHOD THEREFOR
An electronic device includes a hinge structure; a first housing; second housing foldably connected to the hinge structure and configured to be foldable with respect to the first housing; a first display disposed from at least a part of a first surface to at least a part of a third surface; a second display; a first sensor configured to collect sensor data related to movement of the first housing; a second sensor configured to collect sensor data related to movement of the second housing; and a processor operatively connected with the first display, the second display, the first sensor, and the second sensor. The processor is configured to: identify a folding angle between the first housing and the second housing by using the first sensor and the second sensor, select the second display based on the folding angle between the first housing and the second housing being in a first range, determine a display direction of a content, based on the sensor data obtained by the second sensor, and control the second display to display the content, based on the display direction of the content.
