Method and apparatus for estimating a fragment count for the display of at least one three-dimensional object
09823889 · 2017-11-21 · ·

A method of estimating a fragment count for the display of at least one three-dimensional (3D) object. The method comprises determining an ellipsoid representative of a set of vertices defined by coordinates of the at least one 3D object, applying a transformation to the ellipsoid, calculating a projection area of the transformed ellipsoid, and estimating the fragment count for the display of the 3D object based at least partly on the calculated projection area of the transformed ellipsoid.

Apparatus and method for data transfer in display images unto LED panels

The present teaching relates to method, system, medium, and implementations for data transfer in LED display. A signal signaling a timing for a next data transfer is received. In response to the signal, a next data transfer instruction is obtained that instructs reading a bit-based image block of an image from a memory. The bit-based image block is transferred, according to the next data transfer instruction, from the memory via a bus connected thereto, to one of a pair of alternate buffers pointed to by a write buffer pointer. Then, the write buffer pointer is toggled to point to another of the pair of alternate buffers and the process repeats. The bit-based image blocks alternately stored in the buffers are later retrieved and displayed on the LED display.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMAGE REGISTRATION OF MULTIPLE VIDEO STREAMS

Provided herein are methods and systems for image registration from multiple sources. A method for image registration includes rendering a common field of interest that reflects a presence of a plurality of elements, wherein at least one of the elements is a remote element located remotely from another of the elements and updating the common field of interest such that the presence of the at least one of the elements is registered relative to another of the elements.

VIDEO DISPLAY METHOD, VIDEO DISPLAY SYSTEM, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

A video display method includes: acquiring at least one frame image corresponding to a current display time point in at least one source video; reading a stage configuration file, obtaining a stage modeling parameter of the stage space at the current display time point and a corresponding relationship between the at least one frame image and the stage space according to a specific stage related parameter in the stage configuration file; according to the stage modeling parameter and the corresponding relationship, processing the at least one frame image to obtain divided regions corresponding to all display screens included in the at least one stage plane; determining display contents corresponding to the divided regions, and copying the display contents to at least one target memory; and outputting a content in the at least one target memory to the at least one stage plane for display.

METHOD AND PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE HAVING A DOUBLE SCREEN

The invention relates to a method and to a portable electronic device having a double screen comprising the following steps: displaying an electronic file on a portable electronic device which includes a touch screen and an e-ink screen; differentiating between the text content and the multimedia content in said electronic file; displaying the text content on an e-ink screen of the portable electronic device; and displaying the multimedia content of the file on a touch screen of the portable electronic device.

Implementing previously rendered frame buffer information in a customized GUI display

Embodiments are directed to providing direct access to graphical user interface (GUI) frame buffers and to associating input hardware with a login session. In one scenario, a computer system registers a plug-in software module with a remote desktop client. The registering includes requesting one or more frame buffers rendered for display on a computer system display. The computer system determines that a session has been established between a computer system user and the remote desktop client. The computer system then receives the requested frame buffers and displays the frame buffers on the computer system display and/or sends the received frame buffers to various registered third parties.

Attention-based trading display for providing user-centric information updates

A system, method, and non-transitory computer-readable information recording medium displays information to a user. Market data having a first portion and a second portion is displayed on a display unit of a trading device. A user focus area is detected, at the trading device. The user focus area is associated with one of the first and second portions of the market data. A first priority is assigned to the one of the first and second portions of the market data and a second priority is assigned to another one of the first and second portions of the market data. The first priority is higher than the second priority. The market data in the first and second portions is updated as a function of the first and second priorities, respectively.

According to an embodiment, provided is a communication device that performs communications of an image and audio. The communication device includes: a storage unit that stores therein arrangement information for specifying a display scheme for the image; an arrangement-information setting unit that sets arrangement information in the storage unit; and a display control unit that refers to the arrangement information and causes a plurality of display devices to display the image. The display control unit causes a first display device to display captured images of a local point and a remote point and causes a second display device to display an image supplied from an image supply device of the local point or the remote point.

Connected classroom

A connected classroom system provides for local and remote control and display of media streams. An instructor may, for instance, direct audio/video streams of the instructor to any number of displays and speakers located within a classroom. The system may send and receive control instructions to and from remote classrooms as well, through a network interface. The control instructions may configure any set of presentation devices in any classroom to reproduce any content originating from any source within any classroom. Accordingly, multiple classrooms located in disparate locations may participate in media exchanges arising from any source, including instructors and individual student seating locations within the classrooms.

Display device with plural displays
