Analyzing log streams based on correlations between data structures of defined node types
09779005 · 2017-10-03 · ·

A method by a log stream analysis computer includes identifying records of log streams within a log repository containing a defined term. The log streams are generated by respective software sources executed by the host nodes. Similarity values are determined to indicate similarity between content of the records containing the defined term. A term node is generated to contain a data structure that identifies the defined term and lists identities of the records and corresponding ones of the similarity values. Related log stream analysis computers are disclosed.

A field data monitoring device comprises a field data database which accumulates field data; a failure mode database which records a failure mode list and a failure-mode word-probability table, the failure mode list recording names of failure modes of products and occurrence probabilities of the failure modes, and the table holding appearance probabilities of words in the field data; a design production operation database which accumulates data of the products; a failure-mode estimating section that calculates attribution probabilities of the field data to the failure modes based on the occurrence probabilities and the appearance probabilities, the failure-mode estimating section classifying the field data according to the failure modes; and a failure-mode cause finding section that extracts conditions under which the failure modes easily occur, the conditions being extracted from the data in the design production operation database and of the products associated with the classified field data.

MEMORY DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

A memory diagnosis system includes a memory device and a server. The memory device includes a memory module configured to adjust operational parameters in response to a parameter control signal, a memory controller configured to generate the parameter control signal in response to a feedback signal, and a memory state monitor configured to monitor the memory module to generate an information signal that includes information on a state of the memory module. The server is configured to generate the feedback signal in response to the information signal.

AUTOMATED ORDERING OF COMPUTER SYSTEM REPAIR

Monitoring the health of a computer system and suggesting an order of repair when problems within the computer system have been identified. Problem(s) and problem entity(s) within the computer system are identified during monitoring. Relationship(s) of the problem entities with other entities in the computer system are identified. A relationship type for each of the identified relationship(s) is determined. A combination of the identified problem(s), the identified problem entity(s), and the determined relationship type(s) is analyzed to determine an order in which repairs of one or more user-visible entities of the computing system should occur in order to address the identified problem(s). An alert comprising the determined order of the repairs is then presented to a user.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING FAULT-AUGMENTED SYSTEM MODEL FOR ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS OF FAULTS IN MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS

A system is provided for determining causes of faults in a manufacturing system. The system stores data associated with a processing system which includes machines and associated processes, wherein the data includes timestamp information, machine status information, and product-batch information. The system determines, based on the data, a topology of the processing system, wherein the topology indicates flows of outputs between the machines as part of the processes. The system determines information of machine faults in association with the topology. The system generates, based on the machine-fault information, one or more fault parameters which indicates frequency and severity of a respective fault. The system constructs, based on the topology and the machine-fault information, a system model which includes the one or more fault parameters, thereby facilitating diagnosis of the processing system.

DYNAMIC THRESHOLDS TO IDENTIFY SUCCESSIVE ALERTS

A method of identifying successive alerts associated with a detected deviation from an operational state of a device includes receiving feature data corresponding to an alert indication and including time series data for multiple sensor devices associated with the device. The method includes determining, based on a first portion of the feature data, first feature importance data of a first alert associated with the first portion of the feature data and determining a first alert threshold corresponding to the first alert. The method includes determining, based on a second portion of the feature data that is subsequent to the first portion, a metric corresponding to second feature importance data of the second portion. The method includes comparing the metric to the first alert threshold to determine whether the second portion corresponds to the first alert or to a second alert that is distinct from the first alert.

Memory Evaluation Method and Apparatus
