An inventory management system includes a first device having a first inventory identifier that uniquely identifies the first device. The first device includes a second device that has a second inventory identifier stored in a non-volatile memory of the second device. The second inventory identifier uniquely identifies the second device. A processing device is configured to execute code that reads the second inventory identifier from the non-volatile memory of the second device. An inventory log receives the second inventory identifier from the processing device, and associates the first device with the second inventory identifier.

Techniques are disclosed relating to relating to a public key infrastructure (PKI). In one embodiment, an integrated circuit is disclosed that includes at least one processor and a secure circuit isolated from access by the processor except through a mailbox mechanism. The secure circuit is configured to generate a key pair having a public key and a private key, and to issue, to a certificate authority (CA), a certificate signing request (CSR) for a certificate corresponding to the key pair. In some embodiments, the secure circuit may be configured to receive, via the mailbox mechanism, a first request from an application executing on the processor to issue a certificate to the application. The secure circuit may also be configured to perform, in response to a second request, a cryptographic operation using a public key circuit included in the secure circuit.

The interconnect circuitry can implement a first USB-based interface and a second USB-based interface. The apparatus further includes telemetry circuitry to generate telemetry data, cause the telemetry data to be transmitted via the first USB-based interface, detect a power state transition in the apparatus, cause the telemetry data to be buffered based on detecting the power state transition, and cause the buffered telemetry data to be transmitted via the second USB-interface based on a set interface request indicating the second USB-interface.

Provided are a data transmission device and a data transmission method, which are applied to a field of an information technology. The data transmission device includes: a signal conversion module (30) and a signal transmission module (20), wherein the signal conversion module (30) is configured to convert, at a data transmitting end, an electrical signal containing a data information into a magnon signal containing the data information; the signal transmission module (20) is configured to transmit the magnon signal containing the data information to a data receiving end; and the signal conversion module (30) is further configured to convert, at the data receiving end, the magnon signal containing the data information into the electrical signal containing the data information. The data transmission method includes transmitting the data by using the magnon signal, and no voltage or current is required in a process of transmitting the data.
