Prosthesis for a lower limb
A prosthesis for a residual limb includes an element for receiving a stump fitted on or established by a support part, a distal prosthetic part, and an absorbing system. The distal prosthetic part is assembled on the support part by a pivot link forming a joint to enable flexion or extension of the distal prosthetic part with respect to the element for receiving. The absorbing system absorbs the flexion or extension efforts and is connected to the distal prosthetic part and to one of a rod or a lever that is pivotally fitted on the distal prosthetic device. The rod is mounted to the lever and to the support part.

The systems and devices further include a toe portion pivotally coupled to the anterior end of the foot portion, and a plate portion configured to couple to an attachment device and thereby be functionally secured to a user. The plate portion has a recess configured to couple with the protrusion of the foot portion. A cylindrical rod is located within the lateral passage of the protrusion and has ends protruding therefrom on oppositely-disposed of the protrusion. The plate portion is pivotally coupled to the ends of the rod on oppositely-disposed lateral sides of the protrusion.
Coupling for a prosthetic device
A prosthetic foot, including a keel having a longitudinal axis. The keel includes a keel body including a heel portion, a forefoot portion, and an ankle portion positioned between the heel portion and the forefoot portion. The ankle portion includes a housing having a vertically oriented central axis. In addition, the prosthetic foot includes a coupling assembly disposed within the housing of the ankle portion. The coupling assembly includes a bearing member disposed about the central axis, a support sleeve concentrically disposed about the bearing member, and an embedding member disposed about the support sleeve. The embedding member includes a plurality of interlocking rings.
Vacuum system for a prosthetic foot
A prosthetic foot comprising a vacuum system configured to attach to a vacuum attachment apparatus and a residual limb. The prosthetic foot may comprise a resilient bottom member, a resilient top member, and a vacuum system. The resilient bottom member may comprise a front end and a rear end. The resilient top member may comprise a front end and a rear end and the front end of the resilient top member may be connected to the front end of the resilient bottom member. The vacuum system may be coupled to an underside of the rear end of the top member. The vacuum system may comprise a compressible member, a chamber located within the compressible member, a valve system received within the compressible member, a passageway connecting the valve system and the chamber, and an air return coupled to the valve system and the vacuum attachment apparatus.
Compact limb prosthesis system and method
A prosthesis system can have an advantageous use over conventional prostheses in certain activities, including, but not limited to certain sports activities: The system includes, elastic member(s) that can store and release energy. The storing and releasing of energy in the elastic members happens during the movements made by the user and with the application of the user's own body weight while performing an activity. Implementations can also include a variety of routing configurations for the elastic member(s), as well as a variety of mounting points to integrate the elastic member(s) into the system, and/or a variety of adjustable anti-hyperextension members, and/or a variety of interchangeable shoes used for applicable activities.
Prosthetic liner apparatus for improved suspension
Prosthetic liner apparatus for improving suspension and rotation control between a residual limb and a socket of a prosthesis include a liner body having a shape configured to receive the residual limb and having an outer surface that fits within the socket. The liner body may have a plurality of raised elastomeric grips located on its outer surface and a proximal end of the outer surface of the liner body includes at least an exposed smooth elastomeric region that fits within and seals with the socket. Further disclosed is a prosthetic sock having raised elastomeric grips on its inner and outer surfaces which is for use with a liner body that is smooth or textured and that may or may not include raised elastomeric grips, and that when used together with the liner body ay form a liner apparatus.
ROBOTIC PROSTHETIC FOOT HAVING ELASTIC BODY
A robotic prosthetic foot according to the present disclosure includes a coupling module having an upper portion to which a limb part of a user is coupled, a prosthetic foot module configured to be coupled to a lower portion of the coupling module and support a load of the user to enable the user to walk, and a joint module provided at the coupling module to enable the prosthetic foot module to rotate, wherein the joint module includes an elastic unit configured to compress and expand due to the prosthetic foot module rotating as the user walks and generate an elastic restoring force to facilitate the rotation of the prosthetic foot module.
Robust adaptable foot prosthesis
A device is provided to allow adaptation of a prosthetic or robotic foot in the medial-lateral direction, including pronation and supination of the foot using a series of articulations. Articulations are permitted in the disclosed device due to linkage systems positioned at various locations of the prosthetic foot. In particular, the device includes multiple connected linkage systems each including upper and lower portions with an articulating contact surface designed for load carriage and stability. The point of contact between the contact surfaces of each linkage system comprises the position-dependent instantaneous center of rotation of the upper portion with respect to the lower portion. The device also includes a platform coupled between the linkage systems and a base.
PUMP SYSTEM
A prosthetic system includes a prosthetic foot having an upper foot element with a concave-forward facing portion and foot portion extending forwardly therefrom. An intermediate foot element is disposed below the upper foot element and has a front portion coupled to the foot portion of the upper foot element. A lower foot element is disposed below the intermediate foot element. A pump system is coupled to the prosthetic foot and comprises a pump mechanism including a housing defining a cavity, and a membrane situated in the cavity. The pump mechanism is movable between an original configuration and an expanded configuration. An arm member is connected to the pump mechanism and operatively coupled to the intermediate foot element.
