Data processing system and data processing method

A data processing system according to one embodiment includes first and second data storage devices having a storage medium capable of permanently storing data; a data holding device having a storage medium capable of storing the data at a higher speed than the first and second data storage devices; and a controller that determines the type of data to be processed, and, in the case where the data to be processed is structured data, stores the data to be processed in the data holding device, then, collectively, in the first data storage device, and, in the case where the data to be processed is binary data, stores the data to be processed in the data holding device and in the second data storage device.

No-SQL repository database and its use for automation services requests processing

The invention concerns a No-SQL repository dataBase (RepoDB (12B)) for handling multiple legacy environments and registering a wide variety of configurations (software and hardware, and cloud) by storing technical data to support the end-to-end (E2E) automation and authorization of standard service requests (SSR) and wherein a table stored in RepoDB (12B) is configured to hold data in No-SQL format and for providing managed services (standard service requests) in very complex environments using at least one other database (Oracle or Mysql or MS SQL or DB2) and for the automation of database SSR.

System and method for data transfer, including protocols for use in data transfer in a content management environment

Embodiments of a service based data transfer system are disclosed herein. Embodiments may of such a data transfer system may include a data transfer server providing a common data transfer interface such as a services interface that may be called by a client device to transfer data files to, or retrieve data files from a content management system.

Streams on shared database objects

A database platform can track changes using a stream that records changes made by database transactions. Streams on views can be implemented by applying a stream to source data, and applying the view to the streamed data. Users of the database platform can query the stream on the view to review recent changes to the view, such as changes made since the last database transaction.

DISPLAY MOUNT INTERFACESMANAGING ACCESS TO FILE-BASED DATABASE

According to aspects of the present disclosure, there are provided methods and computer program product for accessing a file-based database, the method comprising receiving, at a first process of a multi-process application, a request from a second process of the multi-process application to perform an operation on a file-based database; in response to receiving the request at the first process, beginning execution of a database access thread to perform the requested operation on the file-based database, and providing, by the first process, a result of the requested operation to the second process, and wherein if the requested operation is a write access to the file-based database, limiting to one a number of threads executing to perform operations on the file-based database while the database access thread to perform the write access is executing.

File system warnings application programing interface (API)

The present technology pertains to a organization directory hosted by a synchronized content management system. The corporate directory can provide access to user accounts for all members of the organization to all content items in the organization directory on the respective file systems of the members' client devices. Members can reach any content item at the same path as other members relative to the organization directory root on their respective client device. In some embodiments novel access permissions are granted to maintain path consistency.

Automated scripting for managed devices

Systems and methods are included for providing feature sets to groups of managed user devices within an enterprise mobility management (EMM) system. A feature set can enable a user device to detect one or more triggering events, and in response, automatically perform a specified action. An administrator can request a feature set using an interface provided by a management server. The management server can enroll the user device, install a management agent on the user device, and automatically build and deliver the requested feature set to the user device. After receiving the feature set, the management agent of the user device can monitor for recurring triggering events without further intervention from the management server.

Data conversion and distribution systems

Systems and methods for improved data conversion and distribution are provided. A data subscription unit is configured to receive data and information from a plurality of data source devices. The data subscription unit is in communication with a virtual machine that includes backtesting utility configured to generate backtesting data using one or more statistical models and one or more non-statistical models. The backtesting utility may translate the backtesting results into one or more interactive visuals, and generate a graphical user interface (GUI) for displaying the backtesting results and the one or more interactive visuals on a user device. The backtesting utility may update one or more of the displayed backtesting results and the one or more interactive visuals without re-running the modeling steps.

Generating theme-based folders by clustering digital images in a semantic space

The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media for clustering media items in a semantic space to generate theme-based folders that organize media items by content theme. In particular, the disclosed systems can access media items that are stored in an original folder structure. The disclosed systems can generate content-based tags for each media item in a collection of media items. Based on the generated tags, the disclosed systems can map the collection of media items to a semantic space and cluster the collection of media items. The disclosed systems determine themes for the clusters based on the generated tags. The disclosed systems can present a media item navigation graphical user interface comprising the collection of media items organized by themes. The disclosed system can present the media item navigation graphical user interface without altering the original folder structure.

Consistent entity tags with multiple protocol data access

Techniques are provided for consistent entity tags with multiple protocol data access. In an example, a file storage system is configured to process data according to file storage protocol(s) and object storage protocol(s). An object storage protocol can utilize entity tags that indicate whether an object (represented with a file in the file storage system) has changed. Where a file storage protocol is utilized to modify a file, an indication may be stored that indicates that the file lacks a valid entity tag. If an object storage operation is made to retrieve an object, and if the object corresponds to a valid entity tag, then that entity tag can be returned as part of the response. If the object does not correspond to a valid entity tag, then the file storage system can generate a new entity tag and return the newly generated entity tag as part of the response.
