Switch event ordering

Examples disclosed herein relate to a method comprising detecting a plurality of changes in a database, wherein the database is used to configure a switch operating traffic on a network. The method may include determining that a subset of the plurality of changes are to be deferred before being used to configure the switch, wherein each change in the subset has a potential dependency with at least one other change in the subset. The method may also include iterating through each change in the subset. The iteration may include confirming that a target change has a dependency with another change in the subset, resolving the dependency and transmitting the target change to an object manager for configuration of the switch.

Transaction-enabled systems and methods for royalty apportionment and stacking

Transaction-enabled systems and methods for royalty apportionment and stacking are disclosed. An example system may include a plurality of royalty generating elements (a royalty stack) each related to a corresponding one or more of a plurality of intellectual property (IP) assets (an aggregate stack of IP). The system may further include a royalty apportionment wrapper to interpret IP licensing terms and apportion royalties to a plurality of owning entities corresponding to the aggregate stack of IP in response to the IP licensing terms and a smart contract wrapper. The smart contract wrapper is configured to access a distributed ledger, interpret an IP description value and IP addition request, to add an IP asset to the aggregate stack of IP, and to adjust the royalty stack.

Database and file management for data validation and authentication

Techniques for database and file management herein include a processor and a memory device storing instructions that cause the processor to perform operations comprising creating a request based on an extensible markup language (XML) or an interpreted scripting language object, wherein the request comprises unauthenticated data for validation. The operations can also include transmitting the request to a remote device), updating metadata corresponding to the request to indicate the successful validation by the remote device, validating a response file, and detecting a discrepancy between the unauthenticated data and the authenticated data accessible by the remote device. Additionally, the operations include obtaining correction data to resolve the discrepancy, and executing a transaction based on the request and the correction data.

DATA STRUCTURE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A computing device generates a first token for first data content that is associated with a first relationship and a second relationship, and a second token for second data content that is associated with the first relationship and a third relationship, such that the first token and second token are generated based on a frequency of use of data values included in the first and the second data content. The computing device calculates a first similarity score of data values from third data content that is associated with the second relationship and a fourth relationship with data values from fourth data content that is associated with the third relationship and the fourth relationship in response to the first and second token matching. The computing device then performs, in response to the first similarity score satisfying a similarity threshold, a first modification to any of the data content.

DATA LINEAGE IN A DATA PIPELINE

Various embodiments comprise systems and methods to monitor operations of a data pipeline. In some examples, a data pipeline receives data inputs, processes the data inputs, and responsively generates and transfers data outputs. Data monitoring circuitry monitors the operations of the data pipeline circuitry, identifies an input change between an initial one of the data inputs and a subsequent one of the data inputs, and identifies an output change between an initial one of the data outputs and a subsequent one of the data outputs. The data monitoring circuitry correlates the input change to the output change, determines a quality threshold for the output change based on the correlation, and determines when the output change falls below the quality threshold. When the output change falls below the quality threshold, the data monitoring circuitry generates and transfers an alert that indicates the input change and the output change.

System and method for providing high availability data

An embodiment relates to a computer-implemented data processing system and method for storing a data set at a plurality of data centers. The data centers and hosts within the data centers may, for example, be organized according to a multi-tiered ring arrangement. A hashing arrangement may be used to implement the ring arrangement to select the data centers and hosts where the writing and reading of the data sets occurs. Version histories may also be written and read at the hosts and may be used to evaluate causal relationships between the data sets after the reading occurs.

Insight expansion in smart data retention systems

A computer-implemented method applies insights from a variety of data sources to each of the data sources. The method includes identifying a set of data sources, wherein each of the data sources are associated with a domain. The method includes analyzing documentation for each of the data sources. The method further includes extracting a set of attributes for each data source, and determining a data schema associated with each data source. The method includes mapping each data schema to a common domain schema. The method also includes linking, based on the mapping and on the set of attributes for each data source, common features across each data source. The method includes generating, in response to the linking, a knowledge graph. The method further includes preparing a visual display for a set of domain insights; and forking the set of domain insights into a first data source.

Facilitating device fingerprinting through assignment of fuzzy device identifiers

Various device attributes associated with a current event may be obtained. Similarity metrics may be determined that indicate a degree of similarity between the device attributes that are associated with the current event and stored device attributes that are associated with previous events and previously created fuzzy device identifiers. A fuzzy device identifier may be assigned to the current event based at least in part on a comparison of the similarity metrics with a threshold. If none of the similarity metrics compare favorably with the threshold, then a new fuzzy device identifier may be created for the current event. However, if at least one of the similarity metrics compares favorably with the threshold, then the previously created fuzzy device identifier whose stored device attributes are most similar to the device attributes that are associated with the current event may be assigned to the current event.

Auditing system for machine learning decision system

Computer systems and associated methods are disclosed to implement a decision model auditing system that allows clients of a machine learning decision system to audit the decision-making process the decision system. In embodiments, the decision system is instrumented with reporting code to collect internal decision data of the decision system and send the data to a decision auditing service. In embodiments, the auditing service provides the client with an obfuscated token, which may be used to anonymize the client requests to the decision system. As client requests are handled by the decision system, the reporting code generates audit messages to the auditing service. The auditing service stores the audit information, which may later be provided to the client or used generate an audit report. In embodiments, the audit report may indicate whether the decision system contains any undesired bias.
