Dashboard loading from a cloud-based data warehouse cache

Dashboard loading from a cloud-based data warehouse cache, including determining that a result for a first query is stored in a cache of a cloud-based data warehouse; sending, in response to the result being stored in the cache, to the cloud-based data warehouse, a request for the result from the cache; and providing, based on the result for the first query, one or more dashboard visualizations.

Identifying data relationships from a spreadsheet

Proposed are concepts for identifying data relationships from a spreadsheet. Such a concept may transform formulae by replacing the variables in each formula with descriptive labels. This may, for example, expressing the transformed formulae in terms that have more meaning to a user, the facilitating understanding and/or analysis that would otherwise not be possible with the existing tools.

Interactive navigation environment for building performance visualization

A tool for providing a visualization of a system may reveal an interactive navigation environment for building performance observation and assessment. The tool may be associated with a processor. The environment may incorporate a treemap, a graph pane, a treemap filter, a graph pane selector, a selected units box and a date/time control mechanism. A visualization of the environment, among other things, may be presented on a display. The treemap may exhibit a building geometry and/or equipment units hierarchically, along with some data information. Units may be interactively selected from the treemap and placed in the box for analysis. The graph pane may show a configuration and display of unit analysis. Selection of detailed views for units in the box may be provided by the graph pane selector. Date and time intervals for analysis may be selected by the control mechanism.

METHOD FOR CONFIGURING A MOM DATA WAREHOUSE AND PROVIDING A UI TO THE MOM DATA WAREHOUSE CONFIGURATION AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
20180004381 · 2018-01-04 ·

A method for configuring a manufacturing operation management (MOM) data warehouse and providing a user interface (UI) to the MOM data warehouse configuration. The MOM data warehouse forms a database for the data handled within a manufacturing execution system. The method includes: a) mapping the data that has to be presented in the UI into a hierarchical data model being based on an industry classification of the manufacturing process controlled by the manufacturing execution system, the hierarchical data model having a number of levels; b) mapping the hierarchical data model into a radial control based UI; c) displaying in the radial control based UI at least two levels of the hierarchical data model; and d) providing navigation actions in order to scroll up and/or scroll down through the levels of the hierarchical data model.

Computing Resource Inventory System
20180011740 · 2018-01-11 ·

Systems and methods of managing computing resources of a computing system are described. A computing resource list and computing resource information may be stored at a data store. The computing resource list may identify a set of computing resources of a computing system, and the computing resource information may respectively describe the computing resources. The computing resource list may be updated in response to a new computing resource being added to the computing system or in response to an existing computing resource being removed from the computing system. Evaluation tasks for the computing resources may be performed, and a resource evaluation report may be generated during performance of at least one of the evaluation reports.

HASH INDEX

Example implementations disclosed herein can be used to build, maintain, and use a hash table distributed across the plurality multiple nodes in a multi-node computing system. The hash table can include data pages associated by corresponding pointers according to a tree data structure. The data pages include leaf data pages. Each leaf data page can be associated with a corresponding hash value and include a tag bitmap. When a transaction associated with a key is executed, a hash value and a tag value are generated based on the key. The leaf data pages can be searched using the hash value. A probability that a leaf data page includes the key can be determined based on a comparison tag value with the tag bitmap.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EXPORTING, PUBLISHING, BROWSING AND INSTALLING ON-DEMAND APPLICATIONS IN A MULTI-TENANT DATABASE ENVIRONMENT

In accordance with embodiments, there are provided mechanisms and methods for creating, exporting, viewing and testing, and importing custom applications in a multitenant database environment. These mechanisms and methods can enable embodiments to provide a vehicle for sharing applications across organizational boundaries. The ability to share applications across organizational boundaries can enable tenants in a multi-tenant database system, for example, to easily and efficiently import and export, and thus share, applications with other tenants in the multi-tenant environment.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR BIG DATA ANALYSIS

A method includes: obtaining a multi-type service data report that requires data analysis; analyzing and processing the multi-type service data report to determine N types of service data that fluctuate in the multi-type service data report, where N is an integer greater than or equal to 1; and screening out abnormal service data that abnormally fluctuates from the N types of service data and exporting the abnormal service data. A system for big data analysis is further provided. Instead of simply regarding fluctuant service data as abnormal service data, the method and the system determine abnormal service data based on the N types of fluctuant service data in the multi-type service data report. This reduces overreactions and helps reasonably measure service data. Therefore, service data can be thoroughly analyzed.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING USER-DEFINED METRICS

Disclosed are systems and methods for monitoring user-defined metrics. A method may include: receiving, from a user device, a metric definition usable to generate queries to obtain data for a metric to be monitored; receiving, from the user device, a monitoring configuration indicative of a manner in which a metric monitoring process associated with the metric definition is to be repeatedly performed; storing the metric definition in a metric definition database; and repeatedly performing the metric monitoring process in accordance with the monitoring configuration. The metric monitoring process may include: retrieving the metric definition from the metric definition database; generating a database query based on the metric definition, the database query including one or more executable database statements defined by the metric definition; executing the database query to obtain query result data, the query result data being data for the metric; and storing the query result data.

Reduction of data stored on a block processing storage system

Techniques and systems for reducing data stored on a block processing storage system are described. A losslessly reduced representation of a data block can include references to one or more prime data element blocks, and optionally a description of a reconstitution program which, when applied to the one or more prime data element blocks, results in the data block.
