Systems and methods for capacitive field tuning for detecting touches on objects are disclosed. For example, an identity of an object placed on a touch-sensitive surface is determined and signal impedance characteristics associated with the object are also determined. The signal impedance characteristics may be utilized to determine tuning settings to apply to capacitive sensors such that the capacitive field of the device extends from the touch-sensitive surface to a touch surface of the object.

The present disclosure provides a device binding method and apparatus, and an electronic device. The method includes: sending, by a first application program executing a first protocol, a query instruction to a target device, the query instruction being used to query a first device identifier of the target device in a second protocol; receiving, by the first application program, the first device identifier sent by the target device; and providing, by the first application program, the first device identifier, to enable a second application program executing the second protocol to bind a login account of the second application program to the target device based on the first device identifier.

A controller for a barrier operator is provided. The controller includes a control board communicatively coupled to a device and a display communicatively coupled to the control board. A system including the controller and a handheld device is also provided. The handheld device includes a camera and a handheld display. The handheld device further includes one or more data processors configured to receive the encoded content utilizing the camera, retrieve remote informational content from a remote database based on the encoded content, and display the remote informational content on the handheld display.

This disclosure relates to a communication system where a user can use a smart phone to scan a tag, such as a QR code, to retrieve a weblink. The weblink is unique and associated with the location of the tag, which may also be the location of an unpersonalised device, such as a video projector or other A/V equipment. Therefore, when the mobile phone connects to the weblink, the webserver can retrieve information associated with this particular unique code. This information is now specific to the location of the tag and may even include information about the unpersonalised device. The operator receives the information when the communication channel is established and therefore knows exactly what the subject of the call will be. Further, the call can be automatically routed to the most appropriate operator without audio menus to be navigated by the user.

The present application relates to the production of cannabis products, particularly on a large scale, such as at an industrial level. Cannabis is typically a controlled and regulated substance, and so inventory control, security, and traceability of the cannabis may need to be provided. A human-based manual and/or labour-intensive implementation is not scalable, and is therefore infeasible at an industrial level. Disclosed herein are computer systems for inventory control, security systems, and computer methods for facilitating traceability from a cannabis product back to a batch of cannabis plants.

In one embodiment, a storage device that is installable in an electronic apparatus includes a first communication interface for connecting the electronic apparatus to the storage device, a nonvolatile memory for storing data and data management table storing a data size and address information for the data stored in the nonvolatile memory, and a processor configured to change at least one piece of data stored in the nonvolatile memory without changing file management information stored in the data management table. Author-created digital agents and content corpora for electronic documents are described. A content corpora service can include application programming interfaces such as for adding content to a corpus, attaching a corpus to a document, retrieving corpora associated with an author, and searching content of a corpus. An author-created digital agent can receive a request from a consumer of a document, determine corpora associated with the document, formulate a query based on the request, and search content associated with the corpora associated with the document.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and device for data center management. For example, there is provided a method, comprising: obtaining information of hardware used in a data center, the information of the hardware including identification information describing an identifiable attribute of the hardware; identifying the hardware by matching the identification information with a resource profile, the resource profile recording identifiable attributes of a plurality of types of hardware; and updating a record associated with the hardware in a database of the data center using the obtained information. Corresponding device and computer program product are also provided.
