Method and system for labeling and organizing data for summarizing and referencing content via a communication network
Systems and methods of the present technology generally provide computer implemented assistance for data summary, including organizing and generating a summary of data selected from legal source documents. A system server may receive user-identified information selected from one or more legal source documents at a user device, along with at least one unique identifier selected from a unique identifier selection box via a communication link. The server may then generate a summary that includes the unique identifier and the user-identified information, and may send the summary via the communication link to be displayed at the user device.

User-identified information may be selected from one or more source documents at a user device, in response to which a unique identifier selection box may be displayed at the user device. A unique identifier may be selected from the unique identifier selection box. A first data set and/or a request for generation of a summary set may be sent to a system server via a communication link, the first data set may include the unique identifier and the user-identified information. The user device may then receive a generated summary via the communication link and may display the summary.

Electronic Document Presentation Management System
A method for managing engagement and presentation content of an electronic document involves providing container metadata identifying engagement containers within the electronic document, providing engagement data linked to the engagement containers, the engagement data comprising parameters of an engagement based on the segments of content in the linked engagement containers, executing a procedure to traverse engagement containers identified in the container metadata. The procedure includes accepting, based on user input, data responsive to the engagement, and assigning a score for the current engagement container based on the received data and the parameters defined in the engagement metadata.

Searching electronic documents based on example-based search query
A computer implemented method for searching electronic documents, and associated system and computer program product. The method includes receiving an input representing an example-based search query and processing the input. The method also includes determining, for each of the electronic documents, a relevance score between the input and the corresponding electronic document. The determination is based on, at least, textual similarity between the input and the corresponding electronic document, topical similarity between the input and the corresponding electronic document, as well as linkage relationship in a linkage network of the plurality of electronic documents. The method also includes determining, based on the determined relevance scores, a search result containing one or more of the electronic documents. The search results will be provided to the user.
Method for determining relevant search results
A method for determining relevant search results includes provided a searchable database containing a plurality of source documents with corresponding citations. The source documents and the corresponding citations have keywords. The keywords are extracted from the source documents and citations using a parser and are stored in the searchable database in association with the source documents and citations. The citations are linked to their source documents in a graph databased based upon the keywords shared between them.
COLLABORATIVE ANNOTATION AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR DISCUSSION, EVALUATION, AND RECOMMENDATION OF RESEARCH PAPERS
A collaboration platform facilitates review of research papers by recommending papers to reviewers and managing annotation of the papers by the reviewers. The platform applies a model to analyze historical actions by a user with respect to the platform to predict an attribute of the user. Based on a match between the predicted attribute and the subject matter of a paper, the platform recommends at least one research paper to the user. As the user reads the paper, the platform receives an input from the user to define an annotation associated with the research paper. The user attribute is linked to the annotation and the annotation is published in association with the research paper, where the annotation is selected for display to a second user based at least in part on the attribute of the user.
ENHANCING MACHINE LEARNING MODELS TO EVALUATE ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS BASED ON USER INTERACTION
A computer system generates a first rating of a research paper by applying one or more trained machine learning models to data extracted from the research paper. As one or more users interact with the research paper, the computer system detects actions by the user that are directed to the research paper. The computer system modifies the one or more machine learning models using the actions by the users. A second rating of the research paper is generated by applying the modified models to the actions by the users and the first rating of the research paper.
DYNAMIC DETECTION OF CROSS-DOCUMENT ASSOCIATIONS
Systems and methods are configured to generate a set of related document objects for a predictive entity and/or to generate an optimal document sequence for a set of related document objects. In one embodiment, a set of related document objects for a predictive entity is generated by processing entity metadata features associated with the predictive entity using an entity-document correlation machine learning model, and an optimal document sequence is generated for the set of related document objects by processing the set of related document objects using a document sequence optimization machine learning model.
