Processing structured documents using convolutional neural networks
Structured documents are processed using convolutional neural networks. For example, the processing can include receiving a rendered form of a structured document; mapping a grid of cells to the rendered form; assigning a respective numeric embedding to each cell in the grid, comprising, for each cell: identifying content in the structured document that corresponds to a portion of the rendered form that is mapped to the cell, mapping the identified content to a numeric embedding for the identified content, and assigning the numeric embedding for the identified content to the cell; generating a matrix representation of the structured document from the numeric embeddings assigned to the cells of the grids; and generating neural network features of the structured document by processing the matrix representation of the structured document through a subnetwork comprising one or more convolutional neural network layers.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATIC TEST WEBSITE LAYOUT
Method and system to automatically verify the layout of a webpage on various screen sizes. The method includes retrieving screen size data associated with the webpage. The method further includes determining anchor points for the webpage based on the retrieved screen size data. The method also includes rendering the plurality of elements of the webpage based on the retrieved screen size data and the determined anchor points and identifying a respective location of each of the plurality of elements of the webpage to verify the layout of the plurality of elements of the webpage. If an error in the layout of the webpage is detected, a visual and/or audio alert is sent.

Managing content item collections
Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for managing content item collections. For example, in embodiment, a client device may receive first user input selecting a content item collection. The client device may generate a graphical user interface for presenting the content item collection. The content item collection may include one or more tiles. Each tile may correspond to a content item embedded into the content item collection and stored by a content management system. The client device may present the content item collection including the one or more tiles. The client device may present, within each of the one or more tiles, an image representing the corresponding content item.

Supply of image assets for presentation at a mobile device
Technologies are provided to supply image assets for presentation at a client device. Some embodiments include a computing device that can determine that multiple image assets to be presented in a user interface are unavailable within a non-volatile storage device of the computing device. The computing device can then generate a request for an image sprite containing the multiple image assets, and can send the request to a content source platform. The request identifies the multiple image assets. The computing device can receive, from the content source platform, the image sprite and metadata corresponding to the image sprite. The metadata defines attributes of the multiple image assets. The computing device can store the metadata in the non-volatile storage device, and can extract, using the metadata, the multiple image assets from the image sprite. The computing device can present the multiple assets during presentation of the user interface.

ELECTRONIC FILE GENERATION APPARATUS, ELECTRONIC FILE GENERATION METHOD, NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM FOR STORING SETTING REGIONS AND ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS.
The electronic file generation apparatus according to the present invention is configured to set up hyperlinks and anchors in setting regions so as to have the same lower level segments of names, and then to change the setting regions in such a manner so as to execute one-round replacements of only higher level segments of names of the anchors and the hyperlinks in different electronic files. During the process of one-round replacements, the lower level segments of names are copied onto, the lower level segments of names of another file. Finally, the anchors and the hyperlinks in different setting region coincide with each other only by simply combining/coupling a plurality of electronic files into one file. Thereby allowing users to make verbatim cross-references among different contents.
High Quality Setting of Text for Print, With Full Control Over Layout, Using a Web Browser
Described herein are systems and methods for formatting text for generating a print document based on a web document. For example, in some examples, a subset of characters of a first element of a web document is wrapped in a second element. Further, the onscreen position of the subset is determined based on the wrapping. In addition, the position on a print document for the subset is determined based on the determined onscreen position.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY GENERATING DOCUMENTS ON THE BASIS OF AN INDEX
A system and method for automatically generating at least one document, in particular of procuration type intended for authorizing an agent to carry out an action on behalf of a client, the method includes: a step of selecting values of a first parameter and of a second parameter in such a way as to form a generation context; a step of consulting the static index so as to obtain the virtual document or the pre-finalized document in the PDF format associated with said generation context; in the case of a virtual document, a step of requesting from a database the page layout and the paragraphs pointed at by the virtual document obtained; and a step of generating said document in an electronic format, containing the paragraphs returned by said request and the page layout returned by said request.
