Linking an entity relating to product development to a document portion
A hierarchical representation of entities relate to development of at least one product. A portion of a document is selected. For the selected portion of the document, an indication associated with at least one of the entities in the hierarchical representation is received. Based on the received indication, a link is created between the selected portion of the document and the at least one of the entities in the hierarchical representation.
UNIFORM HIERARCHICAL VIEW OVER DIVERSE DATA FORMATS
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for generating uniform hierarchical views of technical documents irrespective of a file format for the technical document. Metadata definitions may be received that define a technical document hierarchy for the technical document. Based on the metadata definitions, technical data element may be mapped to the technical document hierarchy. The technical document may be generated, the technical document comprising the technical data elements. Based in part on the technical document and the metadata definitions, the uniform hierarchical view may be generated. The uniform hierarchical view may be populated with at least a subset of the technical data elements from the technical document. Once generated, the uniform hierarchical view may be displayed.
UNIFORM HIERARCHICAL VIEW OVER DIVERSE DATA FORMATS
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for generating uniform hierarchical views of technical documents irrespective of a file format for the technical document. Metadata definitions may be received that define a technical document hierarchy for the technical document. Based on the metadata definitions, technical data element may be mapped to the technical document hierarchy. The technical document may be generated, the technical document comprising the technical data elements. Based in part on the technical document and the metadata definitions, the uniform hierarchical view may be generated. The uniform hierarchical view may be populated with at least a subset of the technical data elements from the technical document. Once generated, the uniform hierarchical view may be displayed.
PROVIDING ENHANCED FUNCTIONALITY IN AN INTERACTIVE ELECTRONIC TECHNICAL MANUAL
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods, apparatus, systems, computing devices, and/or computing entities for displaying content found in technical documentation via an IETM viewer. In accordance with one embodiment, a method is provided comprising: providing content for the topic, wherein the content comprises a topic identifier configured to uniquely identify the topic; and responsive to receiving user input requesting interpretability for the topic identifier: identifying one or more hierarchical portions of the topic identifier; obtaining a semantic definition for each hierarchical portion; and updating the content to display a combination of semantic definitions, the combination of semantic definitions configured to provide interpretability for the topic identifier. For example, interpretability provided for a topic identifier that is a string of numeric characters may include a meaning or definition in English.

Method and system of creating and summarizing unstructured natural language sentence clusters for efficient tagging
A computerized method for reducing domain noise, creating and summarizing human-written sentences into clusters for efficient tagging in natural language processing comprising: receiving a typed, handwritten or printed text; implementing an optical character recognition (OCR) process on human written text to generate a digital version of the human written text; splitting the digital version of the typed, handwritten or printed text into an array of sentences, using a sentence splitter to generate a split sentence version; determining a domain of the human written text; based on the domain, implementing a domain noise reduction process on the split sentences version; hierarchically clustering the split sentences version after the domain noise reduction process; and summarizing the clustered sentences and reducing the amount of data to be tagged.
Document Mark-up and Navigation Using Natural Language Processing
A method includes obtaining a text document, generating a first mark-up of the text document by a first natural language processing (NLP) model, and displaying the text document and the first mark-up. The method also includes receiving a user interaction with a portion of the first mark-up. The portion of the first mark-up of the text document may be associated with a portion of the text document. The method additionally includes, based on the user interaction with the portion of the first mark-up, selecting a second NLP model by which to process the portion of the text document, where the second NLP model is different from the first NLP model. The method further includes, based on selecting the second NLP model, generating a second mark-up of the text document by processing at least the portion thereof by the second NLP model, and displaying the text document and the second mark-up.
Document Mark-up and Navigation Using Natural Language Processing
A method includes obtaining a text document, generating a first mark-up of the text document by a first natural language processing (NLP) model, and displaying the text document and the first mark-up. The method also includes receiving a user interaction with a portion of the first mark-up. The portion of the first mark-up of the text document may be associated with a portion of the text document. The method additionally includes, based on the user interaction with the portion of the first mark-up, selecting a second NLP model by which to process the portion of the text document, where the second NLP model is different from the first NLP model. The method further includes, based on selecting the second NLP model, generating a second mark-up of the text document by processing at least the portion thereof by the second NLP model, and displaying the text document and the second mark-up.

A storage medium storing a screen generation assisting program that causes a computer to execute a process that includes accepting, in an input screen to which information for generating a screen of a first hierarchical level is input, designation of a number of elements of a second hierarchical level that serves as a lower level than the first hierarchical level; associating a first template for generating the screen of the first hierarchical level with second templates for generating a screen of the second hierarchical level; generating the screen of the second hierarchical level by displaying the pieces of data in regions of the second templates; and generating the screen of the first hierarchical level by displaying, in region of the first template that corresponds to the regions of the second templates, a summarized value of the same number of the pieces of data of the second hierarchical level.
