SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATING THE CREATION OF A RENDERABLE DESIGN
A system and method for creating a renderable design is disclosed having a host system in communication with a user device. The host system generates instructions that cause the user device to display screens of an application in a browser, the application screens being configured to accept input from a user. Upon receiving a text string input by the user, the host system evaluates each layout stored in a database to generate and return at least one possible layout representing a design configuration for the text string input by the user and sends the possible layout to the user device. Upon receiving confirmation of a selection of at least one layout, the host system generates a renderable design of the selected layout.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF
An electronic device having an electronic board function and an operation method thereof. The electronic device includes: a display; a touch input interface; a memory storing at least one instruction; and a processor configured to execute the at least one instruction stored in the memory to: display a writing area in a display area of the display; detect a predefined touch input in the writing area; and based on detecting the predefined touch input, reduce the writing area, display the reduced writing area in at least first part of the display area and provide an extended area in at least second part of the display area, the extended area being configured to receive a writing input continuing from the reduced writing area to the extended area.
System and method for extracting structured information from implicit tables
A system and method for extracting structured information from an implicit table is disclosed. The system and method provide a way to locate and categorize structured information from an implicit table. More specifically, the system and method provide a way of determining which part of an input image document includes a dominant table and which parts of the dominant table make up rows and columns. These details give meaning to the structured information of the implicit table. These details can be used to properly place the structured information from the implicit table into a two-dimensional data structure, such as a data structure in a relational database. In other words, the structured information from a scanned or digital Portable Document Format (PDF) document can be extracted and placed into a useful format, such as a relational database.

Thumbnail image generation
Technology for generating thumbnail images is provided. In one example, a thumbnail image generation method may include receiving a request to generate a thumbnail image of an electronic page. The electronic page may be analyzed to identify content features of the electronic page. A determination of changes to make to a copy of the electronic page may be made based on the content features to form a modified electronic page. The thumbnail image for the electronic page may be generated using at least a portion of the modified electronic page.

MANAGEMENT OF CONTENT OBJECTS FOR INGESTION BY MULTIPLE ENTITIES
Systems, methods, and software described herein generate synonymous mutations of content objects. In at least one example, a method includes identifying a content object from a content source and identifying language elements in the content object. The method further translates the language elements from a first structure to a second structure, wherein the second structure provides one or more synonymous mutations of the first structure. The method also generates a second content object from the content object by replacing the one or more language elements in the first structure with the one or more language elements in the second structure and provides that second content object for display to one or more users.
TECHNIQUES FOR GENERATING TEMPLATES FROM REFERENCE SINGLE PAGE GRAPHIC IMAGES
A method includes extracting a set of segments located in a reference single page graphic image. A first segment overlaps with a second segment of the set of segments. The method includes identifying a plurality of bounding areas within the reference single page graphic image. Each segment of the set of segments is associated with a bounding area of the plurality of bounding areas. The plurality of bounding areas includes a first bounding area and a second bounding area, the first bounding area overlapping with the second bounding area. The method includes generating an editable template including a set of editable fields. The set of editable fields is determined based upon the plurality of bounding areas in the reference single page graphic image. A position of an editable field in the editable template is based upon a position in the reference single page graphic image of a corresponding bounding area.
CONTENT CONVERSION SYSTEM
A computer-implemented method for transforming comprehensibility of text, includes: receiving a body of text; partitioning the body of text into hierarchical syntactic and semantic segments; determining an initial comprehensibility level of the body of text, based on one or more metrics such as vocabulary, grammatical structure, voice, verb usage and formatting of the body of text; receiving a target comprehensibility level for the metrics; for each measure of complexity, including semantics and syntax, generating at least one transformation of that measure of complexity for a segment of the body of the text, based at least in part on the initial comprehensibility level and the target comprehensibility level; upon a confidence level for the transformation being greater than a predetermined threshold, performing the transformation on the segment of the body of text to generate a revised body of text; and determining a revised comprehensibility level.
