According to one embodiment, an electronic apparatus performs a character recognition process, uses, if a stroke in a first area of the first handwritten document and a stroke in a second area are the same, a character recognition result of the first handwritten document, and performs, if a stroke in the first area and a stroke in the second area are different, the character recognition process for the second area including the different stroke.
Animated Digital Ink
The digital ink system receives digital ink input from a user and analyzes the digital ink input to collect ink stroke data for the various ink strokes that make up the digital ink. The digital ink system also receives an animation type selection that describes a manner in which the digital ink is to be displayed. The animation type is a dynamic display type, which is display type in which the digital ink changes while the digital ink is displayed. The ink strokes of the digital ink input are displayed using the selected animation type, and are also stored along with the animation type in a digital ink container for subsequent display. The digital ink can be subsequently displayed using the animation type or using a static display type in which the digital ink appears to be stationary while the digital ink is displayed.
METHOD OF PROVIDING HANDWRITING STYLE CORRECTION FUNCTION AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE ADAPTED THERETO
A method of providing a handwriting style correction function and an electronic device adapted to the method are provided. The electronic device includes: a touch screen; a processor electrically connected to the touch screen; and a memory electrically connected to the processor. The memory stores instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising: displaying at least one reference character on the touch screen; receiving a touch gesture via the touch screen; displaying a track of the received touch gesture on the touch screen; recognizing the track of the touch gesture as at least one input character corresponding to at least one reference character; identifying at least one reference character and at least one input character, as at least one stroke, based on a preset standard; comparing corresponding strokes of at least one reference character with at least one input character, and determining errors by strokes; and summing the errors by strokes of each of at least one reference character, and determining errors by characters.

A comment addition method includes displaying, by an electronic device, a first interface of a first application, entering, by the electronic device, a comment mode in the first interface in response to a preset trigger operation, displaying, by the electronic device in the first interface and in the comment mode, a first comment added by a user, displaying, by the electronic device, a second interface of a second application, entering, by the electronic device, a comment mode in the second interface in response to the trigger operation, and in the comment mode, displaying, by the electronic device in the second interface, a second comment added by the user.
System and method for selecting and editing handwriting input elements
The invention relates to a method in a computing device for hand-drawing elements, comprising: detecting input elements hand-drawn on an input surface; displaying the input elements in digital ink on a display device; classifying input digital ink as text or non-text and predefining blocks of input elements; selecting one or more input element according to a first selection mode triggered by a first gesture or according to a second selection mode triggered by a second gesture to select input elements within a selection area. Once selection is made, editing may be performed on the selected input elements in a different manner depending of which of the first and second selection mode is used.

An information sharing support system includes a first information processor connected to a projector that projects an image on a projection area including an object, and to an image pick-up device for picking up an image of the projection area; an inputting unit that inputs an event in a first layer, inputs a second annotation image as a part of a first annotation image associated with the event to a second layer, inputs a third annotation image to a third layer, and inputs a document to a fourth layer; a transmitter that transmits the second annotation image to the projector device; a receiving unit that receives a picked-up image; and a second information processing device that allocates the picked-up image to the second layer, and includes a display that displays the third annotation image and the document in an overlapping fashion.
Authoring presentations with ink
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and system for authoring a presentation with electronic ink data. Specifically, embodiments disclosed herein provide for receiving touch input and identifying type object(s) of presentation data that correspond to the received touch input. A layout may then be identified, in certain embodiments, corresponding to the touch input. A presentation is then generated based on the received touch input, identified type objects, and identified layout. The presentation data is then displayed.

Wherein the handwritten note includes a handwritten text, and the method includes: acquiring a handwritten text input by a user, recording a specific word in the electronic book corresponding to the handwritten text and a relative position of the handwritten text with respect to the specific word: when format adjustment of words in the electronic book is monitored, determining a new position of the specific word after the format adjustment; obtaining a new display position of the handwritten text based on the new position of the specific word and the recorded relative position of the handwritten text with respect to the specific word; and determining a display manner of the handwritten text based on the new display position of the handwritten text.

A method for image processing by: obtaining an original image including a bulleted list; determining a list bounding box enclosing the bulleted list; determining line bounding boxes nested within the list bounding box enclosing lines of the bulleted list; identifying bullets based on the line bounding boxes; identifying indentations based on the bullets; and generating a bulleted list object for the bulleted list in the original image based on the indentations.
