Generation of text from structured data

Implementations of the subject matter described herein provide a solution for generating a text from the structured data. In this solution, the structured data is converted into its representation, where the structured data comprises a plurality of cells, and the representation of the structured data comprises plurality of representations of the plurality of cells. A natural language sentence associated with the structured data may be determined based on the representation of the structured data, thereby implementing the function of converting the structured data into a text.

Generating search commands based on cell selection within data tables

A search interface is displayed in a table format that includes one or more columns, each column including data items of an event attribute, the data items being of a set of events, and a plurality of rows forming cells with the one or more columns, each cell including one or more of the data items of the event attribute of a corresponding column. Based on a user selecting one or more of the cells, a list of options if displayed corresponding to the selection, and one or more commands are added to a search query that corresponds to the set of events, the one or more commands being based on at least an option that is selected from the list of options and the event attribute for each of the one or more of the data items of each of the selected one or more cells.

SYSTEM PERFORMANCE LOGGING OF COMPLEX REMOTE QUERY PROCESSOR QUERY OPERATIONS

Described are methods, systems and computer readable media for performance logging of complex query operations.

Controlling a Device Using Tabular Data
20180007142 · 2018-01-04 ·

A device controllable via tabular data and a computer-implemented method for interactively performing operations on tabular data. The method comprises providing an input array, an operations array, and an output array, wherein each array includes at least one cell, receiving, in the operations array, a first reference to a cell of the input array, receiving tabular data from an input source, and performing operations on multiple rows of the tabular data. The operations comprise inserting one of the rows of the tabular data into the input array, determining a value of a second cell of the operations array based on the referenced cell of the input array, and storing one of the following in a cell of the output array: the determined value of the operations array and a value of the referenced cell of the input array.

COMPUTER DATA SYSTEM DATA SOURCE REFRESHING USING AN UPDATE PROPAGATION GRAPH

Described are methods, systems and computer readable media for data source refreshing.

Table item information extraction with continuous machine learning through local and global models

A bipartite application implements a table auto-completion (TAC) algorithm on the client side and the server side. A client module runs a local model of the TAC algorithm on a user device and a server module runs a global model of the TAC algorithm on a server machine. The local model is continuously adapted through on-the-fly training, with as few as a negative example, to perform TAC on the client side, one document at a time. Knowledge thus learned by the local model is used to improve the global model on the server side. The global model can be utilized to automatically and intelligently extract table information from a large number of documents with significantly improved accuracy, requiring minimal human intervention even on complex tables.
